When I first started a blog about 10 years ago, there weren't very many. I wanted something unique and had somethign to do with my German heritage, yet related to me writing in a blog every day. Nothing like being specific.

A friend of mine from Germany named it Zeitzeuge (pronounced Tsight-Zoyga) for me, which means a witness to a specific time and place in history. Since then, I have been called Zeit, Zeity, Mr. Z from friends and fellow bloggers.

Been using the nick as a name on various sites ever since then.

My sn comes from my original VMK name. I am a lover of all things Disney & will be forever! I spelled it that way bc VMK names could only be 16 or 17 letters & under, so I shortned lover to lvr.
Then for some reason, VMK decided they didn't like that name for me anymore, but it was my original & liked it better than all the other names I had to choose, so it stuck.

My SN is actually completely inspired by Star Wars. Before Episode III was released, Lucasfilm would release one image a week from the movie on StarWars.com called George Lucas selects. One of these images was titled Sleepless Knight and I used it on some Star Wars message boards. Since my favorite Disney film is Sleeping Beauty, Sleepless Knight works great as tribute to my favorite films.

Well mine is pretty self-explanatory! I love all things Princess and even have several Princess items on my car (a Disney Princess antenna topper, A DLR license plate tag that says DLR- Disney Princess, the word Princess on the front window of my car, and a "gator princess" sticker on my rear window)...lol it's not hard to tell that I love Princesses (and Disney) when you see that! And my name is Yessenia....SOOOOOO PrincessYessenia!

This is a fun thread! I tried registering a few times using some favorite charater names(or combo thereof), but couldn't come up with anything that: 1) wasn't already taken; 2) I liked; and 3) was memorable enough for me to retain in my peabrain with all the other passwords and stuff floating around in there. I live on a small island in the Puget Sound called Raft Island. I hesitated choosing raftislander because I wanted something that would be more obviously Disney related, but it does have a personal Disneyland connection. I started going to Disneyland back when you had to have tickets to get on the attractions and I always used one for the Rafts to Tom Sawyers Island. When you had to make your ticket book last all day, you got a lot of bang for your buck going to the island. You could play, explore, or rest in the shade on the island as long as you wanted! Well, until dusk at least. So I was a raftislander then and I am a raftislander now.

When I discovered the Disboards last fall I was living in New Zealand,(expat there for 6 years) and was planning the big ole International move back to the States. Our Disneyland trip was on the way from NZ to the U.S.
I had *just* seen a play called '4 Flatwhites in Italy'. A Very Kiwi, funny intelligent play.

I always order a latte...I love the foam.
Flatwhite is steamed milk no foam(why oh why would anyone not want the foam???). It is just *so* kiwi to me..and somehow got all wound up with me and the move. A very nostaligic Kiwi memory for me somehow.

Clear as mud? lol
