What is the one kitchen appliance..

My one-cup coffeemaker.. I can't stomach coffee that has been sitting for more than 10 minutes..

I think I agree with you on that after a lot of thought. I use that more than my toaster!

I'm in the process of moving from a 2700 sq. ft. home to a 1000 sq. ft. condo. I have to be very selective about what I can take.

I never use a toaster oven although I've bought a few. But I do use my Keurig everyday, and it is getting counter space. Still not sure about my toaster - I'll take it but it may not rate counter space.

I probably use my food processor more than I do my Kitchenaid. Not so much as when you couldn't easily buy grated cheese. But I use it for cookies that are very dense like for shortbread, and it works better than the mixer.

My wife Without her, I would get really sick of going out in the cold all the time to cook on the grill. I hate cooking in the kitchen and do everything on the grill.

I think it's a toss-up between my Kitchenaide stand mixer and the toaster oven.

I have a stand mixer but do not bake a lot but when I do, its great. I have to say my favorite thing is my food processor. LOVE LOVE LOVE it!

I also like the crockpot.

As far as tools go...we had the best ice cream scoop and then it seemed to disappear. We were very unhappy that we could not find the same one anywhere...the ones we did buy, broke after a couple uses...Well, I found the original...so I bought 2!!! I guess if I would have known the make and the name I could have ordered it...here it is:

the corkscrew! Ok, it's a utensil instead of an appliance so I guess... it's a toss up of my Sunbeam stand mixer or the crock pot. My mixer was a Christmas gift from my mom.

I am very fond of kitchen appliances. I would say my crockpot is number one at the moment. I use it for overnight oatmeal, soups and bean dishes a lot. I don't eat bread any more, but when I did, I used my bread machine several times a week - for bread, rolls, pizza dough, cinnamon buns, etc. And when my kids were at home we used the rice cooker quite often.

My new and up-and-coming favourite is my dehydrator. My daughter gave me her old one when she got a better one, and she showed me how to make things like flax crackers (with pureed zucchini! But you'd never know), dehydrated fruit for snacks, etc. Really easy to use and the results are great.

I love my toaster oven. Besides making toast, I use it for reheating things without firing up the big oven. There are some foods I'd rather heat in the oven rather than the microwave. I like leftover pizza better from the oven so I put it in the toaster oven. I also use it for melting cheese on sandwiches or on chips to make nachos.

You can even bake small things in the toaster oven. I've taken it to my preschool class several times to make muffins or banana bread right in the classroom. Otherwise, we'd have to use the oven in the staff room and the kids wouldn't be able to see the whole baking process.

For those wanting a kitchen aid mixer, Walmart has them on sale for black Friday. $130, originally $299!! Not a bad deal!

I read that and gasp ... My DH was all concerned asking me what was wrong! I MIGHT have to go and do that ... I want one sooo bad!

That being said, I do not have a kitchen appliance that I LOVE. As long as I have my fridge, micro and stove I am good. However, I guess that's my answer ... I NEED my stove. It's a 5 burner Jenn-Air gas double oven. The top oven toasts so I don't need a toaster!! I LOVE my stove.

My beautiful cobalt blue Kitchenaid stand mixer that helps me make incredible Coconut cakes, homemade cookies and muffins. I can't imagine making my Christmas cookies without it.

Both of my Kitchen-Aide mixers (5 and 6 quart). This time of year they get lots of work. I bake about 50lbs. of cookies or more for the holidays.

I also love my Tassimo.

I bought a super nice KitchenAid mixer 3 Christmases ago. It was turned on to mix the sweet potatoes and...first time using it, blew them ALL OVER THE KITCHEN!!! Hasn't been used since. I really should donate it to someone who knows how to bake.

So, the item I really do love is my Calphalon dutch oven. I like Calphalon even better than the pieces of All Clad I have.

I'll take the mixer!!
