What is the easiest way to get from ASMO to Dolphin and how long will it take?

OK now that I reserved a car from National to pick up at the Dolphin. I need the best way to get there from ASMO. I put down a pick up time of 9:30 a.m. on Sun Oct 26. We want to drive to the beach that day. So, we will need to leave from our resort (ASMO). Others have said to take a bus to MGM and than boat or walk to the Dolphin. How long will it take to walk? And how long would the boats take? Also do the boats return people to the hotel at that time of day, since I would assume most people would be going to the parks at that time. The bus to MGM is a good idea because you won't have to spend a ticket to enter the park. Exit the bus, and take a hard right and walk along the canal. It should take about ten minutes or so to get to the overhead bridge. You can continue on, or take a hard right again and go up the hill by the bridge, cross over the canal and come down on the other side of the canal (the Dolphin/Swan side) and continue the walk. You'll come to the Swan first, either go around it, or enter through it (to cool off maybe?) and exit (straight through the Swan) to an outside walkway that leads right to the Dolphin.

Otherwise, take the ferry. Yes, it does take people back (it has to continue the circuit, eh) but it may take longer than the walk. :yes:

It takes me 15-20 minutes to walk from MGM to the Swan/Dolphin.

So I'd probably have to plan at least an hour from ASMO to the Dolphin. Think that's about right? I may just switch my reservation to pick up at the Car Care Center, at least than I'd get picked up right at ASMO at the time I want. What do you all think? I thought I had this all figured out! All this planning drives me crazy!
