What is going on end of July early August

I was just on Hotelkingdom looking up rooms for the fun of it just to see if anything had come down. I clicked on a couple of hotels and the message read that the hotel had recently filled due to an even being held in the area. The message said if I got this same message on other hotels then most likely there is some sort of event. Anyone know what the "event" could be taking place during late July and early August???

I only know what's happening in "The World".... there's ESPN weekend at MGM on July 31st and August 1st, and you can see the Tampa Bay Buccaneers practice at the Wide World of Sports Complex from July 31 to August 19. Sorry I can't be more help than that!

Could be nearly anything. Most likely it is a convention (or more than one) of large attendance. Those things hit town and everything gets sold out fast!
