Hi all! Happy Friday!

Can someone explain Fantasmic to me? Is it a parade, fireworks...both? Is is worth seeing? By the way we are leaving on July 5th and I got our luggage tags yesterday!

Thanks!

Here is the blurb from the walt disney website:

Experience the fun, fancy and fears of everybody's favorite heroic mouse as he battles the forces that turn his vibrant dreams into a vivid nightmare. Mickey faces off against Disney villains in a lavish spectacular of dancing water, dramatic music, breathtaking animation, lasers, fireworks and surprises.

It is a definite must see. ;)

DON'T MISS IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:earboy2: :earboy2: :earboy2: :earboy2: :earboy2: :earboy2:

Make sure to get there early, too, so you can be sure to get a seat.

It is just amazing & nothing that you read will prepare you for it. :) I was in awe when the images were projected onto the water sprays. It is fast moving & I can't wait to see it again in December.

I STRONGLY recommend that you take the time to see it! It is worth it, and a favorite of a lot of people I know!! :cheer2:

It's like a combination stage show/ fireworks/ water extravaganza!

We had half our group save us seats two hours before the show, and then we just brought dinner to them and had a nice calm meal inside the stadium while we waited.

Very glad we saw it....truly spectacular show!

If there are young kids in your group make sure you know their tolerance for the "bad guys." It IS a fantastic show, but as someone said it's Mickey facing off again all the Disney villains and of course, in Disney style, they are larger than life. Scares the be-devil out of some!

I will put on my flameproof suit and be ready to be yelled at for this: I was totally underwhelmed by Fantasmic. I read so much about it and how great it was, but I thought it was just ok.
They show cartoons on a spray of water. :confused3 There is more to it than that, but certainly not worth spending 2 or more hours of my time to see it. Notice I said my time, not yours. :earboy2: Most people here seem to love it.
I think we will skip it this year and do rides and get out of the park before the crowds.

If you don't want to wait that long, you can get the dinner package at some of the sit downs.

No flames! :) That's why there are so many different things in the park. Noone...or at least not too many people...like everything. I have been disappointed with a couple rides that I have read raves about too.
