What is everyone booking for Summer 2027?

It looks like the Infinity had another total power loss on Feb 15, 2026. We are weighing our options as we have a non refundable deposit. We can either change the sailing or wait and see. On a happier note, I booked the EBTA with DCL for my husband and I departing on Apr 25, 2027.
You can switch sailings they just penalize you 100 a person. I really dislike the non-refundable deposit especially with a long cruse when it's 900 dollars. Princess started doing the same thing, but the increased fare to book a refundable deposit is low something like 150 a person. I wonder if DCL will ever go the route of offering lower fares with non-refundable deposits.

Soo I just got this email from my agent:

"Good Afternoon,

We just wanted to provide an update for you with your DVC booking window opening this morning for your Alaskan Disney cruise.

At this point we have been unable to place the hold for the staterooms, Disney Cruise Line requires you to call in to provide the membership number and we have been not been able to reach them via phone. We believe they may have turned their phone lines off due to the high volume of calls or just that we aren't able to get through due to so many people attempting to call. Regardless, we will continue to try and get a through to them so we can get these hold for you.

I did want to note that there is still inventory for the categories you had wanted, so that is promising to see!

Please let us know if you have any questions with this, we appreciate your patience and understanding while we work on this for you. "

I am hyperventilating over heer... my first time trying to do a dcl cruise...

Thank you for your input. Yes, I did see that. At this point, we are going to leave it as is. We have several options to talkj about. If Celebrity does cancel at the last minute and we're already in Athens, we'll just plan a land vacation in Greece. We'll get our money back and a future cruise credit. We've always talked about doing a land vacation in Greece.
We can switch now, but I have to do alot more researching on their ships. I made the mistake of booking the Infinity before reading their reviews.
If they decide to retire the ship any it was before final payment, then we'll just look for something else.
My husband is flexible. My son who is joining us is excellent at planning land vacations.

Virgin may be running something that same week if you are all 18+. If not, you could also look at Celestyal.

NCL is also running a lot of Greek Isle and Adriatic cruises on the Viva. New ship and refundable deposits. I cannot vouch for NCL yet other than the itineraries are very good.

Thank you. I did look at Celestyal also. My husband and I are in our upper 70"s our son will be 42 at the time of sailing. I like the cruises on Celestyal, if our airline tickets are already purchased. It will give us time to spend in Athens. Another thought we have is splitting the time in Greece between Athens and Santorini.
