What is Christmas Day like at WDW?

Plan lots of resort time as well as other things you might not normally do...for example, a great non-park day for us might be...

Breakfast somewhere fun (we have young kids, so we might do Chef Mickey's or Cape May if we are staying in the Boardwalk area). Doing a character meal makes the kids feel very "Disneyfied" even though we won't be at a park. Then, we might hit one of the mini-golf places...lots of fun and something different than parking it. Definitely major pool time, weather permitting. If it's too chilly for the pool, we might go to DTD for some shopping and atmosphere, or we might even take in a movie. We will always check out the activities going on at the Community House...often good things there. Last time, we played tennis (got the rackers at the Community Hall)...we had such a blast laughing at how bad we were! And I can't tell you how many people were walking by and commenting to each other, "Who comes to Disney to play tennis?" lol--it was a great memory for us.

Have fun! But definitely avoid the parks on Christmas Day.
