Yep, sounds like "sandstone metallic", I was just hoping it was NOT white.
I know about the trunk, it is awesome.

A coworker has an Impala, it's kind of off white, cream. I think she called it cappucchino.

The one I had in May was defintely white  but I still liked it!

There were several Malibus (or Chevy Classics) PT Cruisers, Dodge Stratus and a few Monte Carlos.

I was actually picking up from the convertible aisle. They had all Sebrings and I got a Navy one with 10 miles!

Magiroux, curleyjbs and Gail,

Sorry for the delay in responding, out of town for the 4th. Thanks for the repies and the info. I will sign up tomorrow.

Thanks again.

Just back from WDW. When we picked-up our car, there were lots of Malibu's, a few Monte Carlo's, Grand Am's, PT Cruisers and Aztecs. There was also 1 Impala and 1 Sebring.

We chose a maroon Aztec....ugliest car I've ever driven but it had a lot of room and drove great!

Incidentally, the executive aisle was all Impala's.

Arrived yesterday, side A about 10:00 am. There were mostly monte carlos on the asile probably about 15. About 6 or 7 PT's and a few othr cars but can't rmrmmber what they were. There was one Aztec which we took.

Buzz it is a burgendy maroon color wonder if it is the same one. It has about 8000 miles on it drives nice abd plenty of room.

I should know the answer to this as my husband is car-crazy, but are the Monte Carlos all two-door? Or do they have some four door? what about the Grand Ams?

Thanks-

Actually my question wasn't all that clear, and I just answered part of it myself. Monte carlos only come in two door. But Grand Ams come in both 2 door and 4 door. Do they have mostly 4 door?

Thanks-

Sorcha

I had a 2 door Grand Am once but mostly I've seen 4 doors. Most of their cars are 4 doors, easier for families.

I just looked it up. The one I turned in had 9279 miles on it, so it must not have been the same one. They do drive very nicely though, don't they?

Well, I'm sure they must wash them before they rent them, but if not, you could have picked out the one we had by the amount of firework debris on it. I think most of the huge fireworks displays from Downtown Disney on July 2, 3 & 4 blew in the direction of Saratoga Springs and totally covered our car. Thank goodness the windshield washer fluid was filled up when we rented the car!

Anyone see any grand vitara' lately? We got one last december and it was a nice small suv. Hopeing for something like that this summer. :yo-yo:

We got very lucky on our recent trip. We arrived in MCO on American Airlines at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 22. I went straight to the EA aisle while hubby went for luggage. Much to my surprise, a Pontiac AZTEC (small SUV) was sitting there. Only one on the lot. I snagged the keys and waited for hubby.

We had one problem with ants a few days after we got it and they brought us another one to our hotel. My two week rental only cost us $244 with all taxes.

This vehicle was perfect for us and handled all of our big bags easily. We had 3 large rolling duffles, 1 small duffle, 1 small suitcase, plus all the carry-ons.

Probably this has been answered in the 40 or so pages but I am asking again. We are arriving 10:30pm on a Saturday. We have Emerald Aisle. What happens if there aren't any cars on the Aisle?

If there is no car on the Emerald Aisle, you could wait for one OR go to the Intermediate Aisle (the size you actually reserved) and pick from there.

See if you can find an attendent. People have posted that they allowed them to pick off the full size aisle or even an SUV.

Although some may have reported luck with this, I believe it should definitely not be counted on as happening as when you rent via EA, you are paying for and booking an Intermediate and that is what you are guaranteed. Anything else is a nice surprise.
