yes yes yes yes yes --- our family tradition was to wake up at 6 am on Day 1 -- go to Magic Kingdom for the Rope Drop and then head to the Main Street Bakery and each get a Cinnamon bun and sit outside the doors and watch the citizens of Main street. no more no more

I believe that you can get those same cinnamon buns at Gaston's Tavern.

Top of the list: Adventurers Club -- Kungaloosh! We first brought my son there first when he was 8 or 9. Of course the racy humor went over his head, but we laughed when the performers singled him out (and us, for bringing him to a bar). He's almost 18 and still misses it.

Legacy FP. Couldn't they keep both types? Would that have been so hard? Is it really cost effective to have hundreds of CM's standing there with ipads? I don't want to plan my vacation that far in advance, and as for adding attractions later in the day -- really, there is nothing left to choose from by then. And on the same note, I really don't want to spend my vacation hunched over my smartphone. I always used to make fun of the people that would get on their phones on exiting a ride. Nowadays when I see that I know they are checking wait times or rescheduling a fastpass. Sad.

Slow times of year. Back before the plethora of South American tour groups. January used to be dead. Now it's just as bad as any other time.

Already expressed my displeasure with Starbucks in a previous post...

Themed merchandise, like mugs, t-shirts and Christmas ornaments from the resorts. I do not want a shirt that says "Disney Parks".

The Hunchback show at Studios. Tarzan Rocks was great as well.

Figaro Fries at Pinnochio's. They were unique and different. Yes, they had to be made for each guest, not pre-prepared, but how many orders did they actually get?

No expiration tickets that you didn't have to pay an arm and a leg for. My parents love to go to Disney, but at over $100/day for a park-hopper, I doubt they will go again. How about a Senior discount, Disney? Make it 70+ and you would still make money.

Tapestry of Nations/Dreams.

The joy of eating at Disney before the DDP. Fewer crowds, better meals.

Akershus before the princesses.

Bistro de Paris, and the old open air cafe where Chefs of France now stands.

Concourse Steakhouse.

When prices for a room reservation were constant over your stay. If you checked in at $99/night, you paid that for your length of stay. Weekends were the same price. And there was an actual value season, and it included Thanksgiving.

I miss Figment! the new ride has nothing on the old one...I even remember meeting Figment while he sat on a pillow held by his buddy outside the pavilion!
Body Wars and the cabaret show that was in The Land were also favorites of mine...I have very fond memories of the talking milk cartons from when I was a kid!

Minnie's House.

It was so beautifully girly and sweet, without being princessy! It celebrated mouse creativity, and we liked taking a picture in the garden shed, and seeing how much taller my DD was each year.

Yes! This was some of the best times I've had at Disney! Kungaloosh!

Sometimes I just stare at the stuff in D-street

I also miss Mr. Toad (so glad I got to ride it in DL a few months ago). Same with Snow White.

And while I think Buzz is a huge improvement, I do miss If you had wings.

Horizons, the original Figment and Wonders of Life at Epcot are also on the list.

I really hope the fireworks from the Poly beach is not a permanent thing. I like them better there than in the park. How would they manage that?

I really miss The Hunchback of Notre Dame Stage Show and the Comedy Club and Pleasure Island. I was in the College Program and hit those at least weekly for 6 months.

The Adventurer's Club. What an amazing, totally unique experience. We didn't find it until our second or third trip, then got hooked! Loved the improv comedy aspect of the performances. And I was so lucky one trip to get pulled up onto the stage to take part in one of their "radio plays." My character was a Swedish nanny (or nurse, I can't remember exactly!). As I stepped onto the stage I had a moment of pure panic and stage fright -- then decided, "What the heck?" and just went for it!!! It was a total blast!

I know but it was the entire experience -- now having to walk all the way into the back of the park, in New Fantasy Land -- and then sitting out side Gaston's and eating it is still okay -- but you miss the excitement of Main Street and it was the combination the entire experience that was a joy..

seeing the high strung commando parents dragging their kids -- and the contrast of the parents who are in awe and soaking in the magic ... you dont see that at Gaston's.

Only read the first 4 pages of this thread, but does anybody remember the Catwalk Bar? It used to be the best place to have a quiet lunch brought up from the Brown Derby.

Loved that bar. Great place for a quiet drink and some good food. A real hidden gem.
