What Happens on a Disney Cruise, Stays on a Disney Cruise? Right? Complete! 4/3/07!

That Kyle...... what an awesome Texas boy.....

Now, Ray...... he is not a Texas boy.....

Or was he?

No he isn't...

how do I know?

His mama would NEVER let him live with manners like that (or lack there of...)

GO KYLE!:cheer2:

I'm the one with the chubby legs, remember?

The one on the left or the right....

Honestly....How can you leave us hanging on this one????? :surfweb: What happened at guest services??

Now, to answer your question... I didn't try that Boma salad that you had. It sounds intersting though and it's awesome that they gave you the recipe.

The thing I remember liking the most at Boma was the warm banana bread pudding with vanilla sauce drizzled over it. Yum.
I think that DH did more sampling than me and the kids did. We went there on our first night and I was tired and ready to get to our room at the Wilderness Lodge and check it out!

1sttimecruz oh no! I didn't get to try the bana bread pudding!

I need to go make an ADR for Boma tomorrow then so I can try it.

Or does that imply that I have another trip to see Precious (Mickey:love: ) coming up soon?

Hhhmmm

Sorry to Hijack... but I thought both you and PPPiglet would like this tip that just appeared on the All Ears Newsletter... It's about AKL and viewing the animals after dark...

We arrived early at the Animal Kingdom Lodge
for our dinner at Boma. As usual, we went straight through the
lobby to the savannah to check out the animals. The guide there
informed us that from 8-10 p.m., you could see the animals
through complimentary use of night vision goggles at the animal
overlook by the swimming pool. We checked it out after dinner --
it was fantastic! The guides have two night vision goggles for
visitors to use, and wipe them down with antibacterial wipes
whenever there's a change in families. It was fascinating and
unique to look for the animals using the goggles!

Tink rules Night vision goggles to view the animals with?

ooohhh! I'd love that!

Except don't most animals wait until night time to do the deed?

I know I don't want to see that.

No, I really don't.

I'm only on page 19, but had to post to thank you!!!!

I've convinced DH to do the DCL!!! Whoo HOOOO!!!:woohoo:

Of course, we have to wait 2 yrs until DS is 5, but that's ok! It's only 24 months away!!!

I've really enjoyed reading this TR! I'm sorry you did fock anyone onboard! Looking forward to catching up! I've been here most of the day!:lmao:

Disneyland_Mama Congratulations!!!!

You know, you don't have to wait!

The Magic will be over in California in summer 2008.

No airfare for you!

Thanks so much for reading my report!

Disneyland is my first Disney home.

There is somethign about Main Street at the Disneyland Magic Kndgom that is missing at Orlando's Magic Kingdom. I think its a nostalgia that the Imagineers didn't quite capture.

Maybe over time it will just ahppen?

Also, I really think Goofy's Kitchen if better than Chef Mickey's/

Sacrilege?

For good measure... I focked the Chief tonight...twice!

and it felt good!

I was so bummed when you finished. You did a great report. Please tell us what he did.  A.K was the only place that I had a problem with also. I wanted to keep my tickets and they said no that they had to exchange them for some really ugly ones because my DH is a cast member. Not as big of a problem as you, but still every other park let us keep them.

mom_of_2_princesses No way!! Your DH is a Cast Member??!!

Does he know Ray?

Or gorgeous Kyle?

Super Shana?

I tried to get DH to run a resume over to the Casting building by Downtown Disney, but he just wouldn't!

I keep my used tickets too. I'd be upset if I had to surrender them too. I'm sorry they did that to you.

Thank you oh so much for reading and posting!!!:goodvibes

B&Lmom I think Ray was from Massachusetts (poor Massachusetts).

You know, there is something special about those Texas boys...

the Prince was born in Abilene (sigh)

Ok...

Lets make a pact...

IF... and I say IF (only because I haven't made it on to this years cruise yet...) I end up signing up for next years double CC cruise... will you then email me a picture or do I have to go around the ship with a sign like the old times yelling

"Calling Mrs. Gluttons... call for Mrs. Gluttons!!!"

Tink rules Deal...

except for one thing

You must walk about the ship calling for "Mr. Tribbles"

Ssshhhh then feign innocence when the Chief wants to know why you know about the Tribbles.

Is that a pair of Mickey Ears I spot on the little pirate: head???

Kyle is my hero!:worship: I may just have to go check him out when I'm at the World in a few weeks. I'm so happy that he ended your trip on such a high note.

Thank you so much for your extremely entertaining TR. You had me on the edge of my seat and I'm sorry to see it end.

Thanks!

Such a great report! I hope you get that USB cable soon!

Dear Mrs. Glutton,

Firstly, thank you for your and your family's countless sacrifices for your DH's service to our country. We live in the greatest country in the world (that's why they are sneaking in!) and you are a BIG reason for its spleandor.

Secondly, thank you for your unmercifully funny (and fun) trip report. I was right there with you every step of the way, even though I did not post. Not only was it fun to read (while tossing away two half-days of work), it was informative to the nth degree. I wrote notes...lots of notes...and changed my plans here and there as a direct result of your report. I hope you take that as the large compliment I intended for it to be.

Questions. (Exposing my ignorance.) What's a "bus bar", and, at the risk of receiving an embarrasing explaination, what is "body glide"? Also, I sat up straight when you mentioned ginger/bonine one week prior. Would you care to elaborate on this tactic? Is it more effective than Dramamine? My DW might benefit greatly from your nursely advice.

We Texans have to stick together, right?

You are a blessing.

May your Disney dreams be exceeded only by your Disney experience.

WOW, that was so good! :worship: I'm going to have to read it again! :goodvibes I LOVE Kyle and I LOVE that your trip report ended on such a high note! :thumbsup2 Thanks for taking the time to make your trip report so interesting AND informative. ;) :)

Wow! FANTASTIC report!
LOVED IT! When do you sail again????;)

No we are on the other side of the country far far away from Ray Thank Goodness. But we are not to far from Kyle! :rotfl: My DH's family is from Mass and I think they kicked Ray out for being a PITA. Florida can keep him.

Gluttons, meet the Gluttons
They're the family from Big Sky Country...
They went
On a mouse trip
Mama Glutton was in her glory...
First, they went to sea with the Mouse,
Then, they visited his house.

Now, read it again, while humming the Flintsones theme song. Sorry its not longer.

$176, + incidentals, food & gas...WOW!

NO WAY!

KISS MY REAR RAY! (OR Mrs. Glutton's at least...):rotfl:

You go girl...great end!
