What do you think of Internet dating??

So internet dating is'nt that uncommon after all. It's great to know that soooooooo many of you met boyfriends/husbands etc. online.

I felt safe meeting my fiance for the first time because we made arrangements to meet in a public place. But I to would tell people to be careful about meeting people. But then again I guess it's like meeting someone at a bar. At least online you can ask alot of questions before meeting face to face.

I think we will start telling people the truth on how we met. Our families and close friends all know. But if we do meet others we will start to tell them online.

Oh and for the record we met on Match.com. It was the best $35.00 I ever spent signing up for the service.

I met my husband on the Internet.. wow.. it'll be 7 years ago in December. We met on match.com back BEFORE you had to pay for it.

We met in December of 95. We were engaged in February of 96, married in November of 96. Can't imagine my life without him now. We just celebrated our 6th anniversary last weekend.

I've never hesitated to tell people how I met my DH. It's met more with a "wow!" then with a "huh?" Especially now.

Chris and I met on the net also. We met on ICQ. I was surfing for some people in the area to chat with. Not looking for anything serious and we began chatting. We were friends for quite a while, then obviously we became more than just friends. I am thankful every day for meeting the man of my dreams and having the internet to thank for it.
