What do you plan to do on 9-11-2002?

I'll be celebrating my birthday, just like luv2nascar. There wasn't any celebrating at all last year, and it's a birthday I'll never forget, unfortunately.

I also work for our local fire and police departments. That's going to be a tough day.

I haven't given it much thought, but I imagine the day will be one of rememberance. I'm sure I'll feel so very grateful that although my family was very close to the tragedy both in New York and in Washington, none of us lost our life that day. And I'm sure to shed a tear for those families who weren't so lucky. :(

Like Luv 2 Nascar and Mickey Nut 50, I will celebrate my birthday on September 11th. It will be my 32nd birthday. I plan to go to work and spend a quiet evening at home with my family. I would feel funny doing anything celebratory on that day, which should be a day of rememberance.

tc....you brought tears to my ears thinking about the flag retreat....we were at WDW last year for 911....This year I will be home and hug my kids andremember....something I was unable to do last year because my kids were at home.....

I hope the federal goverment announces some sort of remembrance day soon.....

I will fly my flag proudly and think of all that were affected and lost their lives in that tragedy. I also will be teaching, and I am sure that the date will be commerated somehow. I hope it is done in a solemn and respectful way.

I will be at my job, 6 blocks from Ground Zero. missing work is not an option, since I just stated with this company. I was working on Long Island on 9/11/01, but many of my coworkers were at work at our company that day. I'm sure it will be quite emotional.

adam, I haven't heard about official remembrances yet. I'll let you know if I hear anything.

I'm a teacher and as far as I know we have a regular school day. I'm sure the students will be a little unsure of themselves.

It's only 40 days away. It is hard to believe it has been almost one year since that terrible tragedy.
