NIKKI!!!!!!! I was so happy to see you tonight!! Sorry I haven't been around much- it has been a really busy year and I have been writing a few TRs at once, so that's where I've been for the most part on the DIS- or researching about Aulani, which I soooo hope I can book in 2 days for August!!

Anyway....I have been reading, but always late at night in bed and I can't type then (silly Pods!)...so....going back to catch up....

I can't believe you get to go back to the world in less than 2 weeks! I am so jealous!! You can stop by Charleston and pick us up on the way! We were just there for our Honeymoon in November and I wanted to go back as soon as we left!!

I remember loving your TR about your honeymoon and to read the sad news about losing Jack Losing a pet is hard for sure.. but so glad you are ready for a new furry friend!

Also the fact that you named her Minerva (Professor from Harry Potter who turns into a Cat) and Minnie for short!? My two loves! Disney and Potter!

Can't wait to hear all about your trip! I have been considering going in Jan. and Feb. so I can't wait to see the low crowds and all the adventures you get into!!

Okay, before I go on with the PTR plans, here are a couple of pics of Minerva!

Isn't she so cute?! She's kind of small but she definitely has an appetite so I have a feeling she'll be gaining some weight!! She's a medium-haired cat so she's very soft and fluffy!


Okay, on with the PTR!!


Tomorrow I am going to do online check-in! I may have done it once before but I usually prefer to just check-in when I get there, in case I need to make a change or something (which I've NEVER had to do). But since we are staying at Wilderness Lodge Courtyard View, what really could be a bad location? Plus, if I check-in online, maybe my room will be ready when we get there so we can quickly drop our stuff and run off to Epcot to meet Stephanie!!

I've been stalking accuweather, which has the weather two weeks in advance. I'm sure it's very inaccurate but I still have to do it. Just checked this morning and look!

Oh PLEEEEASE let it stay just like this! That would be so perfect!

Even when I check the weather the day before, I'm sure I'll pack for all seasons. This weather seems like flips, capris and tanks to me so hopefully that will be what you'll see me wearing in all my pictures! The last time we went in the Winter, I was in jeans, sweater AND jacket! Too cold!


I put in for my personal days on Tuesday and they were approved, which I kind of figured they would be, but it's still a relief.

Let's see, what else. Oh, I almost forgot to preorder the photopass cd!! I have the preorder page bookmarked right below the Disney Blog, which I go to every day, so fortunately, the other day when I went to the blog, I accidentally went to the preoder page!! Thank goodness for that! So that's done.

I was planning on doing some shopping today for the trip. I'd like to get a new camera strap so that we can carry the camera around our necks more comfortably. I also found this really cool camera bag from Best Buy that seems way more comfortable than the one we have. Plus, don't remember if I mentioned this, we got a second lens so it all won't fit in our old camera bag anyway. It goes over the shoulder and seems to be able to fit a lot so maybe I won't even have to bring my hipster....although I'm sure I will!

Isn't it cool looking? And we might even get a small tripod that can probably fit in the high part on the one side.

Anyway, the shopping trip is most likely not going to happen today because it's snowing!! Fine with me, let it snow all it wants right now as long as it doesn't snow of February 1!! I'm having such anxiety. But inaccurate accuweather says it won't so let's hope it stays that way!!

Just called and put in my request! I asked for inner courtyard, 4th or 5th floor. When someone first mentioned "inner courtyard" to me, I thought them meant the part closer to the lobby and outer would be closer to the pool. I did a little research and can't believe that you could actually get a view of the villas with a courtyard view!! I thought ALL courtyard views were in the center of the resort! I reeeally hope they honor my "inner" request! I would've been so upset if I got there and didn't know that request was necessary!
