We all know that the US has many products that we up here cannot get. I'm curious as to what others bring home that is unavailable to us. I plan on bringing home mint skittles, BBQ ranch salad dressing, and extra crunchy peanut butter, plus whatever other little goodies I can find.

This one's a little extreme and we won't be doing this on every trip, but last March we brought home a Britax child car booster seat. We ordered it in advance of our trip on-line and had it shipped to the WDW resort where we would be staying. (Free shipping within the U.S. and no taxes or duties to worry about when be brought it into Canada).

A colleague at work refurbishes old Jaguar vehicles for a hobby and whenever he goes into the U.S. on vacation, he has car parts shipped to where he is staying!

Our only things we bring back that we can't get here are pictures from WDW LOL.

HOLY COW!!! What an awesome idea to ship to the resort and then take it home with you on the plane or whatever. I always want to order from websites but the duties and taxes plus extra shipping outside the US kill the prices! This puts a whole new spin on it!!!Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Taco bell Sauce, you can buy it in the grocery stores down there...

We got some EasyCheese on our first trip...Cheese in a can Yummmm...Not!

We like to get some take home Olive Garden Dressing from their restaurants. They are good.

I like the Mickey and Friends mints from WDW...

I get all my sports um, under shirt, thing that holds up...ummmmmm you get the idea... :p They have really comfy ones for less than $5 at Wal-mart...

Richard gets a lot of clothes as the styles there rock for his taste.

IF I COULD...I would bring back cases of " Dole brand Orange/Pinapple Juice"

I go through 2 litres of it every 3 to 4 days...can you say YUMMY!!!

I love Cocoa Krispies - every time I head to the US I always buy a few boxes. One thing I always enjoy in the US is hitting the grocery stores - looking for new products.

Cereal. My kids and their cousins love Cookie Crisp, Mud & Bugs, and Smores.

We also bought Press and Seal before it was available here.

I also get Cherry Coke, when we go on a camping holiday. Every empty spot in the tent trailer and van is filled with cans or bottles of cherry coke.

Tabasco Habenero sauce and Doritos Guacamole but they have that here now. The last time I wanted to get a box of Mud and Bugs but we didn't really have room and my DBF said "Oh that's just Count Chocula and Lucky Charms..." :rotfl: Some people have no appreciation for Disney :goodvibes

I did some travelling to Tennessee and South Carolina for my job. I just loved their Cherry Coke and never understood why we didn't have it here.

Anyway my company started a regular shipping run to Ohio once a week. The truck drivers (father and son) team heard of my love for Cherry coke and brought back a case for me. Well my two boys tried it and love it (my DH is not so keen on it). So every week they would bring me back 2 cases (I would pay them for it), until the customer no longer wanted our product.

I went thru withdrawal but have seen it popping up here and there in Ont. My oldest even spotted a case in the grocery store and we just had to buy it!

Other than that I just love clothes and jewellery shopping in the states. I find even with the exchange things are so much cheaper!

Anything that will fit in our car!!!!!! I used to get Cherry Coke when it wasn't available in Canada anymore. Had my car searched once because all I declared once was a case of cherry coke and the border guard thought I was lying. :rotfl2: It was really true too that was the funny part all I did purchase that time was cherry coke..............

Especially jewellery! I heard that the federal government charges a luxury tax on jewellery over $50 in Canada (including things like Timex watches). I was comparing the prices of items at the Tiffany stores in the US to the Tiffany stores Canada in Canada and was shocked by the price differences, not to mention that we pay 15% in taxes already :(

Shoes and cosmetics (except for MAC) I also find to be cheaper in the US.

Usually cereal we cant get.I can remember bringing 12 boxes of Boo Berry back over the border one time when we went camping. The border guy thought it was funny,if only he knew it was for DH,LOL.

Goldfish pretzels! Bags and bags of them.... We love them and I've never found them in Toronto.

we couldn't et over the cheap electronics...we bought DVD player and a 5 disc cd player. You can get these here but not for the price we did. Kathy

Another big fan of Cherry Coke, drink way too much of it in WDW to try and last until the next visti. Used to really like pudding pops in the US but since they are frozen they do not travel well.

We have cherry coke here and they finally brought cherry pepsi back. I find the pop in the US to syrupy for my taste.

I bring back boxes and boxes of Grape Nuts Flakes for my Dad, and Tylenol PM for Mum.

They were selling Grape Nut Flakes here for awhile, but they are gone now and all they carry is just plain Grape Nuts. :flower:

On our last trip in April, I brought back 2 bottles of liquid starch for my supervisor - apparently they don't carry it here any more -
She was thrilled.

We usually hit at least one outlet mall and search for bargains in kids clothing, shoes etc.

My Dh and I pop across to Niagara Falls, Buffalo area at least once a month because there are soo many things that they have there that we cant get here, like:

Diet Wild Cherry Pepsi
Paul Newmans Light Balsamic Vinegrette Dressing
Paul Newmans Vodka Tomato Sauce ( mmmmmm sooo sooo yummy!!)
Krustez anything

Plus the clothes are cheaper, nicer and the sizes are more available I find.
