We're leaving in a few weeks. My mother can't drink sugar or caffeine. Do they have Diet Sprite or something without caffeine or should she bring her own?

If they have it, it's only in cans (extra charge). They don't serve in fountains, so you wouldn't be able to get that for free in the dining rooms. You may want to bring your own.

I recently started taking blood pressure medication and I'm not supposed to have caffeine. I don't like cola, and I'm not a big soda drinker anyway. I don't like regular sodas when I do drink soda, I actually prefer diet!

This is another good idea for the baskets we plan on ordering from Shirley of The Perfect Gift. I'll ask her to include some cans of caffeine-free diet sodas, other than cola, and maybe some other diet beverages too. I'm sure she'll have some good ideas for me. ::yes::

The baskets are a good idea. My mom would be really surprised to find all her favorite drinks when she got to her room.
Thanks!

Another idea for your mom: if she's in a restaurant and unable to get a diet, caffeine-free soda, is to order a cup of hot decaf tea, and a large glass of ice. Brew the tea in the cup, and when it's strong enough, pour it into the glass over the ice, then add SweetNLow or other non-calorie sweetener, a piece of lemon, and you have diet, caffeine-free iced tea :)
