Edited: I thought the OP said Test Track... duh! Well here was my post... incase your wondering what TT replaced...

The World of Motion , I still remember we took my grandmother here, a long long time ago, she was getting "old" so we rented a wheel chair for her...and I remember they loaded her wheel chair onto a cart and strapped it in, for some reason it was super funny to us to see her in a cart all by herself going up the steeper hills in the ride, of course she didn't find it funny and was scared the whole ride. One of our special memories. :hyper:
Of course I could never get her onto TT now... but we enjoy it.

Test Track replaced the World of Motion...

For some reason I thought I saw Test Track in the OP's post...lmao... duh! As far as MS replacing Horizons, that one really made me upset, I don't care for the ride, think it's kinda boring but I sure did Love Horizons, especially those oranges. ::yes::

BTW, here is a site about Horizons

I have had occasion to escort a number of handicapped people to WDW over the years and I found that the system on World of Motion to be great. They didn't have to stop the ride, they just rolled the chair on the special pod and the wheels dropped in place. I don't remember WoM having any steep hills in it and the pod contained a seat for a companion with the wheelchair. I wish they had used that system for all the dark "omni" rides. It sure saved a lot of wear and tear on the individual. JMHO!!

Ah memories.... I was a CM at World of Motion back in the day. Getting those wheelchairs into those special cars was QUITE the workout - especially if it was one of the larger wheelchairs. The fun part was trying to get the wheelchair car loaded without slowing the ride down to half speed.

And steep hills? Remember the very beginning of the ride? You went from the loading area up to the 2nd level outside - nice view of Spaceship Earth from there.
