I do all the shopping so we will have

store bought blueberry pie,
Costco lattice apple pie
homemade chocolate pudding pie with homemade whipped cream
might make chocolate chip cookies

I'm not buying a pumpkin pie this year because it never seems to get eaten other than by me so I'm going with the apple pie

I'm still trying to make up my mind, but as of now I think I'm going to make a Pecan Pie with Vanilla Bourbon Whipped Cream, and try a new dessert -- Vanilla Cake with Vanilla Bean Brown Butter Glaze.

What time is dessert, I'm coming over! Pecan Pie is my favorite and no one else likes it. That sounds delicious! Both of them actually!

We are having a non-traditional meal with prime rib instead of turkey but I had to have a pecan pie so we are buying a frozen one and a key lime as well. We are in Georgia and it's not Thanksgiving without a pecan pie but I'm working Wens. and by the time I get home at night I just don't want to mess with baking. Our oven will be busy Thursday with the prime rib and roasting veggies and I'm not getting up early either.

DD is supposed to make a pumpkin cheesecake and bring it over. I'm going to see if I can find some cupcakes with a T-giving decoration too.

My nieces usually make pies with their grandmother, and DH's aunt always brings something yummy, but it will be a surprise!

Just 2 pumpkin pies, plus ice cream because someone said they were bringing ice cream. I'm tired of making 2 desserts and it's easier to just make 2 of the same pie. If we run out, I'll making something else for leftovers. But the last few years my family has come to town a list if ice cream and cupcakes and doughnuts they want to try, and I just don't think we need extra desserts on top of a weekend of sugar. Plus we all like our family pumpkin pie recipe and eat it throughout the year, so I don't feel like I have to offer an alternative this time.

The usual pies my sister in law gets from some farm restaurant. And I am making fudge, was requested. And DD is making pistachio cake which was also requested. Also making a apple cider sangria. Wish we could just have a dessert and drinks meal.

Every year I make Christmas caramels in November, and some find their way to the dessert table on turkey day. DBIL the chef du jour thrives on them. Fortunately the recipe makes a huge batch.

I'm also making a trifle with layers of brownies, homemade vanilla custard pudding, and whipped cream. The top layer is "garnished" with mini Snickers bars.

We are going to our friends' home for Thanksgiving dinner, so desserts are not of our choosing. She has ordered an apple and a pumpkin pie, and a carrot cake. She said the local market was taking the orders, but that they will be "homemade" by one woman. We'll see. As DD and her boyfriend are coming up for the holiday, we will also have a turkey dinner here at home on Friday. I will make pecan pie, blueberry pie (because I have about 15 pounds of Maine blueberries in my freezer), and either a cheesecake or a chocolate stout cake. I LOVE my cheesecake, but the stout cake is a new recipe that I've been dying to try out. I think 4 desserts for 4 people is probably overkill, but I just might make both the cheesecake and the stout cake. After all, DD will take some of it home with them, right??

I'm making a pumpkin pie and a devils food cake. My youngest son won't eat any kind of pie.

I know one thing we will have. My birthday is tomorrow, but it always ends up being lumped into Thanksgiving, even on the years it doesn't fall on the actual holiday. Since i really do not like regular birthday or ice cream cake, I asked if my baker step mom could make this, because I really love it:
