What book are you currently reading?

I'm reading Letting Go, A Parents' Guide to Understanding the College Years.
I'm enjoying it since we will have to let go this fall.

I have been on a reading kick the last month or so. I read Friday Night Lights, and then read two books by Sue Miller, The World Below and While I was Gone. Now I'm on a Luanne Rice binge. I've read The Perfect Summer, Dance With Me, Home Fires and Beach Girls, and am now reading True Blue. Her stuff is kind of addicting and you want to finish to see what happens. They are not difficult, but since I teach English all year I spend a month or two reading brain candy in the summer.

I am reading a few right now. I am reading Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire to DD6- we are trying to get through all 5 books before the 6th comes out. I am reading OotP myself, since it looks like we might not get them all done by the middle of July. And I just discovered the Southern Vampire series by Charlaine Harris- I finished Dead to the World, and am in the middle of Dead until Dark right now.

I got The Historian for my birthday this weekend, and I can't wait to read it. I didn't start it yesterday b/c it was my anniversary and I was afraid I would get too involved and ignore my DH! The reviews are awesome -- it's being called a deeper, more involved DaVinci Code.

The Jesus I Never Knew by Philip Yancey.

Yesterday I finally got around to reading The Da Vinci Code, and I loved it. I'm now reserving Dan Brown's other books from the library.
