LOL, my wife voted an incorrect amount. She thought it was under $2000. It was BEFORE we did the AKV add-on, but now we are in the next group. YIKES!

LOL, sorry Honey! I was HOPING it was still under $2000!

$1200 for 240 points, works out to about 25% of what I would pay for rack rate for a week at BCV. Yessssssss!

cpdwiz,
I'm so happy for you! I just responded to one of your posts on another thread. We just got back from SSR too. Anyway, congrats on the grand prize. I had fun dreaming about winning it then I got back into the world of reality and bought in at SSR in April while we were down there.

Your right!!!! I didn't even think of this!!

Our cable is bundled with our phone and internet, which means that bill is about TWICE what our fees will be next year. We own 280 at BLT, and so our fees for a full year are $1053 but our Time Warner bill for a year is $2016.

Roundabouts $2,280 or so. Boardwalk, 440 points. Wish the dues were lower - but like the resorts cleaned up and refreshed, so it's a necessary evil.

Have 200 points at AKV so just under $1000 I guess.

Claire ;)

Just looked this morning for the "Merry Xmas from DVC". Ball park $3300 for 400 SSR and 250 VB.

Anyone get their Dues Statement yet? I know in the past it always came the day before christmas eve. Except, I think it was after christmas 2004, we were already in wdw so we didnt get the "bill" until after we came back .:woohoo:

I have a "don't ask, don't tell " policy when it comes to maintenance fees :)

Wdwstar, is that what all those white envelopes are?
:)

I hope you at least voted. You can vote anonomously, you don't have to post anything! I think its interesting to see that, while the 1001-2000 has the greatest percentage, the smaller contracts MF's are pretty close. Without knowing the exact amt. of pts., it seems that those contracts under the inital 150-160 Disney purchase amounts are more than I expected. Very interesting......:coffee:

I did vote, but it's more than I care to admit to:upsidedow

I'll admit....I am a statistical geek! So what conclusions can we draw from this small sampling? Are the smaller point resales contracts (<150 pts.) having an impact on Disney's bottom line? Could this be one reason the new minimum for BLT will increase to 100? Is there a psychological threshold for MF's (say >2000)? If so, could Disney finagle the MF's with new resorts so that they could increase sales? Possibly have a phase in period? Any comments appreciated!

Just under $500 for our 100 points at AKV! I was actually excited to get our first annual dues statement. Now, I really feel like I am a member.

Now, we're looking forward to our first official trip home in June!:goodvibes
