I'm working on HEat Lightning by John Sandford, he started a new series (this is the second in it) featuring a quirky Minnesota cop. Pretty good so dar. I'm so spaced out planning htis trip I unknowingly requested and checked out a book from the library that I already own and just read two weeks ago, yet didn't recognize it!

I've done that, too. When you read so much, you sometimes don't always remember the titles that you've read.

Just started the Duma Key by Stephen King, it's pretty good so far. And I just finished Bones to Ashes by Kathy Reichs, I REALLLY enjoyed it.

I've been having a hard time getting involved in a book since I read the Twilight series at the beginning of September, so I was relieved to find I could get hooked again! I usually read 3-5 books a week.

I'm reading "Quickie" by James Patterson. It is such an intense book that I can't put it down!

I just finished "The Lucky One" by Nicholas Sparks. I liked the book, but the ending.....
I'm currently reading "Extreme Measures" by Vince Flynn. His current novel is a real page turner. I just started it and already I'm halfway through it.

Ooh, I LOVE Vince Flynn books! I'm on the waiting list at the library for Extreme Measures. The thing I hate about them is they are page turners and then you have to wait so long for the next one! :)

Right now I'm re-reading The Eagle Has Landed by Jack Higgins. I read it long (as in probably over a decade) ago, and I like WWII thrillers.

I'm reading......
The Lucky One by Nicholas Sparks
next up is Lovely Bones

A friend suggested I read The Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett and I LOVE it! I'm about 1/4 of the way through it. It's been a while since I had a book I couldn't put down.

The last one I couldn't put down was Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen. Awesome book!

I'm reading, Firefly Lane. I'm about 1/3rd into it and I've cried at least 3 or 4 times. It's a story about best friends, growing up together. It's really good. A real heart tugger.

I'm currently reading "Psycho House" by Robery Bloch, the third and last book of the Psycho Trilogy (most people know the first for the amazing Hitchcock film). Its really good so far.

Just started The Lucky One. I read the first 2 books in the Twilight series this summer. I tried to get into the 3rd one but just couldn't. I think I will try it again next.

I'm working my way through Charlaine Harris' Shakespeare novels. I'm on Shakespeare's Champion, but I'm reading them out of order as they come into the library for me.

Started "Mercy" last night. For as much as I read it is the first Jodi Pichoult (sp:confused3) I have read. So far I'm really enjoying it!

I totally agree. :)

Oooh! That's a really good trilogy! It's in my top 4 favorite trilogies she's written (The Key trilogy is my all time favorite - I've read that one at least 5 times through).

ETA:
If anybody cares ( ;) ) My top 4 favorites are:

4. Circle Trilogy (Morrigan's Cross, Dance of the Gods, Valley of Silence)
3. Irish Trilogy (Jewels of the Sun, Tears of the Moon, Heart of the Sea)
2. Three Sisters Trilogy (Dance Upon the Air, Heaven and Earth, Face the Fire)
1. The Key Trilogy (Key of Light, Key of Knowledge, Key of Valor)

Her new one - Blood Brothers, is also VERY good. :)

Love NR!! My fav was the Three Sisters Trilogy.....her new one ( trilogy ) scared the bejezus out of me. Forget what it was called but I only read the 1st book, then warned everyone to stay away from it! :scared1:

I'm currently reading Middlesex. I'm not that far in to it, but it seems like it will be very interesting.
