Currently reading Deja Vu by Fern Michaels. I think it's the second to last book in her Sisterhood series. I feel like I've been reading this series off and on forever and am ready for it to be finished. :) Not sure what I'll read next. I have Hunger Games, I've Got Your Number by Sophie Kinsella, and Trail of the Spellmans by Lisa Lutz at the top of my "to read" pile. :)

Im reading "The Name of the Wind " just started, its either really good or really stupid, haven't decided yet

I am reading the 'Blythes are Quoted' but I am thinking of reading A Grown Up Kind of Pretty. Has anyone read it yet?

Finished Home Front by Kristin Hannah. It was good. Not one of my favorites by her but a good "fluff" book. Very predictable.

Currently reading The Hunger Games (finally). I'm a little less than 100 pages in & I'm really enjoying it.

I hemmed & hawed about reading this book for over a year! I finally bought it for my DD, who loved it & immediately went out to buy the other 2 in the series. I was finally convinced that I should read it & I'm so glad that I decided to!

Voodoo Deadly (Amber Fox Mystery #3) by Sibel Hodge. It's pretty good so far. If you like chick lit w/ a lil mystery thrown in, this series is for you.

I just finished reading "I Am Half-Sick of Shadows" by Alan Bradley. It's one of a series of British mysteries where the protagonist is a 10 year old little girl named Flavia deLuce. I absolutely LOVE these books!!! I can't recommend them highly enough. If you love mysteries, and you love British humor, these are for you!!! The series starts with "The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie." I hope someone here will try them and love them as much as I do!

Next up for me is "Afternoons with Emily" by Rose MacMurray. I'm excited to start this one, as it looks really good. Right up my alley.

Thank you for the recommendation for the mystery series. :) I have heard of, The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie, and thought it was a clever title. I'll definitely have to look into the series! I'm adding it to the list.

Right now I'm listening to, Gerson Therapy. It's 11 tapes! I'm only about a 1/4th of the way into it. It's interesting.

I'm still reading, Protecting the Gift. It's not my usual. No "plot" (same for Gerson Therapy). Informational reading. But useful information just the same. So I'm kind of plodding along.

I'm also skim reading, 1001 tips for your Garden. :)

I finished "I've Got Your Number" about a week ago, and I really enjoyed it. I haven't read any of Sophie Kinsella's books (she's the one who does all the Shopaholic books, right?), so I wasn't sure what to expect. Now I can't wait to read more of her books.:thumbsup2

If you like funny British romances like Sophie Kinsella, you might want to look at some of Jill Mansell's books. I got "Millie's Fling" when it was a Friday Freebie for my Nook and loved it! I've also read "Rumor Has It. "An Offer You Can't Refuse" is next up after I finish......

"Trail of the Spellmans". I'm only about 100 pages in, and so far it's just as crazy as the other 3 were. Did you read "Heads You Lose", written by Lisa Lutz and her ex-boyfriend? That one wasn't as good as the Spellman books.

Just wanted to add that I also really enjoy Jill Mansell's books for light romance and overall fun books. You can usually get them pretty cheap for the Kindle. For some reason, my library does not carry them at all.

I agree the Flavia de Luce mysteries are fabulous, so entertaining.

I'm reading The Hunger Games Trilogy. Wow, the first two books were real page turners! popcorn::

Starting on the third book today. My goal is to finish this before the movie hits theaters next week. :thumbsup2 Will they make movies out of the second and third books?

My husband and I like to read books together and the next one we'd like to read is The Maze Runner by James Dashner. Is this book any good?

I'm really struggling with The Night Circus and I dont know why. Maybe its the jumping back and forth in the timeline? Not sure. Anyway I am at a part where I think it is going to start picking up. I'm guessing that this is one of those books that is ok-to-good until you get to the end then it's a "WOW, now it makes sense. What a good book!" kind of books.

Not really.

Many people LOVE this book. I thought it was fine. It held my interest and I enjoyed it well enough but was not in love with it. My mother read it too, based on the reviews, and had to force herself all the way through it. She really disliked it.

My understanding is that all the main actors are contracted for the 3 book series of movies, and that book 2 will be a movie and book 3 will be 2 movies.

I just started Three Moons Over Sedona. I like it so far.

You're right, Sophie Kinsella also writes the Shopaholic books, I thought that they were much better than the movie version. My favorite book by her so far though is Twenties Girl. I highly recommend it!! She also writes under the name Madeline Wickham (not sure if that's the correct spelling), but I haven't read any of those yet.

I will definitely check out Jill Mansell and "Heads You Lose". :)
