I received my Kindle on Saturday so I downloaded a freebie "Crossing Oceans" to try it out. The book was so-so...a bit too girly for my tastes, but I LOVE my Kindle!

Started "Cutting for Stone" last night.

I just started this one. I really enjoyed The Things We Do For Love by her.

I'm reading Hidden Mickey, which seems to be an adult version of the Kingdom Keepers, but it's not nearly as good.

Almost done with "Not My Daughter" by Barbara Delinsky. I don't know how it ends yet, but so far I really like it. Then I go back to "House Rules" by Jody Picoult. That's a library book, so I didn't want to take it on vacation last week. I really like that one too.

Almost done with "Not My Daughter" by Barbara Delinsky. I don't know how it ends yet, but so far I really like it. Then I go back to "House Rules" by Jody Picoult. That's a library book, so I didn't want to take it on vacation last week. I really like that one too.

I enjoyed both of these too. Have you read Every Last One by Anna Quindlan? It is another gripping story you may enjoy.

I've never read that author. But after I read this, I went to Amazon and checked her out. Sounds like something I'm now really anxious to read.

I FINALLY finished The Passage. I really enjoyed it but it took me forever to get through. Now I'm reading Seven Up by Janet Evanovich because I needed something light. The Passage was not a happy book.

still puttering on with HP and the Deathly Hallows, didn't have a lot of time to read while I was back home for the holidays. I am also reading a few Christmas kids books that I read every year like Little House in the Big Woods and some Baby-Sitters Club, my own little tradition
After HP, or maybe while I'm reading, I may start Perfect Match by Jodi Picoult but I have a feeling that I read it we'll see!

Finished "The Talented Mr. Ripley". I liked this one a lot more than "Strangers on a Train". Now, I'm reading "River Town" by Peter Hessler. So far I'm really liking it. Non-fiction, about a young man's experience with the Peace Corps in China.

I just got finished reading Towers of Midnight by Robert Jordan and Brandon Sanderson. I absolutely love the Wheel of Time. I was in the middle of reading Harry Potter when that book came out, so now it's back to the Goblet of Fire.

Currently reading The Dark Tide by Andrew Gross. It's the first time I've read this author & so far I really like the book.

I love everything by Andrew Gross! He's what James Patterson used to be.

I actually haven't read a book like this in a while. I've gotten in to more "girly" authors so I'm really enjoying going back to something I used to read!

It happens to be one of those books I added to my Amazon order so I could get free shipping on something!

I'm slowly trudging throught The Passage. It really is hard to get through. I try to sit down in the afternoon with a cup of tea and read.
