Wasn't on much during the weekend, sorry if I missed a similar thread.

Epic Mickey for Wii - want
A new pair of boots - need
Coupons for me to do "his" chores (mow the lawn, take out the trash, wash the dog, etc) - from the heart

Nothing! We don't exchange gifts.

And it will be especially true this year with money being extra tight. I would rather use it for the kids.

Mine is getting the Cataclysm expansion for World of Warcraft and 'The Shattering', a novel based on the events happening now in the game. My DH is really hard to shop for so I'm glad he plays games...otherwise he'd probably get socks :rotfl2:.

DH wanted a car mount for his iphone. Got that and will probably also pick up some new socks, new pj pants, maybe a cool tshirt...

not sure what else.

Lara

DH and I are buying ourselves a new big screen TV for the TV room for Christmas. With 0% financing at Best Buy it will be very economical and will get a lot of use because we're big TV people (movies, tv shows, etc.)

DH and I always do stockings for each other. Usually with a $20 or so limit. It's always fun to see what we can find. I usually have to give DH a list with ideas, but it's fun! I usually put some candy, a few fun toys and maybe a game in for him.

I think he might be getting me a Kindle, so I'm thinking of getting him a new running watch. He's had his eye on it for a while.
We tend to spend most of our $$ on the kids, so we don't do a whole lot!

I'm getting my husband a new ski jacket, new ski hat and gloves. I just ordered a book for him today. Plus a I got him a Wii game, reusable coffee cup, another book, sweater... I'm going to REI tomorrow to pick out the jacket and I'll get him some hiking pants and other things as well. I can buy him almost anything in that store and not go wrong.

Dh is getting:
Deadliest Catch seasons 1-6
Xbox 360 Splinter Cell
Xbox 360 Call of Duty Black Ops
Smoked Salmon
David Attenborough- Life on DVD

And I still need to pick up Marty Stouffer's Wild America for his stocking and some Pixies. We have regular antenna tv so we watch alot of series at night when nothing else is on.

Mickey Robe (he already saw this so it won't be a surprise)
Steamboat Mickey snowglobe
Cocacola bedpants

we don't really exchange - I hit some good sales and only spent a total of $50 on the items above.

My DH loves popcorn so I got him a big popcorn machine. As for anything else I am at a loss.

My DH is getting a Xbox 360 + 4 games. I also got him a few items of clothing.

DH is getting a game he wanted for XBox 360, and electric toothbrush, and Spartacus Blood and Sand on blu-ray (though that is partly for me too!)oh and a fleece jacket. Not a big Christmas this year for him. It is our daughter's first so it's all about her this year!! :goodvibes

We do Hanukkah (eight nights of gifts for the kids!) and DS's birthday is also on December 4th. DH is hard to shop for, and money is tighter than usual because I am not working. I got him an MP3 player which he knows about (I went out Thanksgiving night to TRU and got it for half price), and also pajamas, 2 "Nightmare Before Christmas" travel mugs, and a couple of Tim Burton movies (the kids will give him one each).

I usually get him a book (which he reads in a day or two), pjs, socks....and just some small fun stuff. We don't really go crazy with gifts for each other...especially when our kids want things that are like $100 each thing!:rotfl:

As a DH, I can tell you exactly what I'm getting ... A 2TB hard drive for my HTPC. How do I know this? Because I've had to buy my own gifts for the entire time we've been married (13+ years). Unfortunately, I'm a techie and always want a tech gift, but DW is always at a loss on what to buy me. I have no problem buying my big gift for myself, but I drop hints all the time for other gifts, and DW just dosen't seem to catch on. I swear, sometimes it's like she's the man. However, when I'm at a loss, she still wants me to go shopping for her. Sorry, I'm just getting really annoyed by that. :goodvibes

DH bought his own gift this year...computer upgrades (his crashed over the weekend) including a 24" monitor. I'll take DD9 shopping for some small items. I'll stuff his stocking and buy him the new jeans that he needs.

We are in the middle of some major remodeling and would rather put the money into the house and DD.

I got my dh Band Hero for the Wii ($75 @ Walmart on Black Friday), another Guitar Hero game for the Wii, the book from Cake Boss and a new pair of jeans that he desperately needs. He wears a 28L/38W so it's really hard to find him jeans that fit. I actually found some from the Gap in that size so I'm excited to give those to him. And then some little stocking stuffers.

On a normal night my husband gets into bed and turns on the tv. This usually means a big hunt for the missing remote our son likes to hide. Then when found often batteries have to be found as well. Once he turns on the tv he more often then not ends up watching the spanish channels because they play the best movies, no he cannot understand spanish :rotfl2:. Our cable is pretty bad.

I bought him a blu-ray player. The blu-ray itsef is not a big deal, but the ability to stream netflix and play all our dvd's in our bedroom will be a big deal for him. The coolest part is that you can use your iphone as a remote. Now when our son looses the remote DH will have a backup all his own :thumbsup2

I usually have no clue beyond some work clothes or food for him. I spent a day researching blu-ray players online and I am sure he will be excited when he learns what it can do. No more spanish channel movies for him :yay:
