I posted about my daughter, but would like to know your thoughts for my son as well. He has a ton of stuff already. He wants a digital camera, not the fisher price one he has. A real one, mom!!
He has tech deck and a rubiks cube on his list and some silly bands. HE also wants a Halo guy.

What are you getting for your son?

If your son is at all into Lego, they have a digital camera, not the greatest pics, but pretty durable. My DS got one for his 7th Christmas last year and loves it. He gets to take the pics he wants !!

Ipod touch and Harry Potter legos . It is all he asked for, so Santa is happy to oblige. Mom keeps thinking he " needs " electric scooter , but will have to see how the Christmas budget goes and how much is left after everyone else is taken care of.

here is my list:

* legos
* spy net spy camera watch
* real walkie talkies
* assorted books/dvds and a snuggie!

DS is petitioning for an ipod touch but based on how often his DS was lost this last year, it's not happening for him. He really wants some new wii & DS games. He asked for Kirby's Epic Yarn for wii & Drawn to Life for DS.

He hasn't asked for this but I bought him the Harry Potter Lego game. I think he will really like it. He also wants the Snap Circuit car set and he will definitely get that. Highly recommend any of their sets, we have gotten lots of use from them! I almost bought him the Stratego board game at Target today but will wait to see. That was my fav as a kid! He will get some books & something science related.

I got a great deal on an electric scooter at Walmart, so we went that way along with the new spinning Star Wars Light Saber, that Loopz game, Wii club penguin game, Some Spygear stuff (voicechanger, etc.), he wants the Nerf stampede but I got a cheaper step down version to save money since I got the scooter.

mine turns 9 in a few weeks. We are getting him a Itouch for his bday and the newest holiday lego set. For Christmas he wants the lego castle, Nerf stampede gun and more legos.. I bought him a star wars lego set at costco the other day and will buy the nerf gun there also. Other than that some clothes, itunes gift card, a xbox and DS game. We are debating on whether to buy that new thing that goes with the xbox that he can play the motion games. Im not sold on buying yet another gaming thing. I would like to get a basketball net instead.

We are doing a new thing this year and taking the kids to Great Wolf Lodge over Christmas as well as buying great wolf gift cards and quarters for the arcade so they can have extra fun (they know about the trip but the gift cards and quarters will be wrapped) so that is a big part of their present and they know to expect less under the tree because of it. Other than that DS 10 is asking for and recieving: Halo mega Blocks set, Legos (getting a large bucket), Snuggie, newest Diary of a Wimpy Kid book, bath toys, specific stuffed animal, silly bandz and silly ringz. He also asked for a Visa (gift card) like his sisters got for their birthdays last year and Paper Jams. His grandparents are getting him the gift card so he can buy his own Paper Jams:thumbsup2.

This is what our son has asked for:

Atlantis Legos
Artemis Fowl Books
New 007 Wii game

Lucky for us, his list is fairly short. But we are also season passholders and our trips to Orlando should count as Christmas presents everytime we go. :goodvibes

For my 9 year old boy:

Legos
Wii & DS games
Ridemakerz Gift certificate
Books
Transformers

For the family:
Board games
Box of craft supplies
Family Annual Pass to the zoo

My son is 10, so same age range (sort of). So far he has asked for:

Ipod touch (looking for an alternative)
Legos
Nerf guns
Monopoly game

My DS is 9 and we are getting him the following

-DSi XL- His old DS is beat to death and needs a new one.
-Paper Jamz
-New Wii games.

By the way those of you considering getting an iTouch for your son I would do it. We got one for my son for his birthday and it's really paid for itself. He LOVES it...

My 9yo DS is getting:

Bop-It Bounce
DSi
Fossil Fighters for ds
Kirby Epic Yarn
Guilty Party
Mighty Beanz
Pajamas and robe
books, not sure which ones yet

Harry Potter Legos
A few Wii and XBox games
Definitely some new books if I can find any he doesn't already own!
He lost his DSi, so if it is in the budget, he may get a DSi XL

Mine is 10, will be 11 in December..... He has asked for an ipod touch, stampede nerf gun and kineck for the xbox 360.
I have already ordered the Kinect so I think he will be very happy.
Plus we are giving him and his almost 14 yr old sister a trip to disney in May, was thinking of disney gift cards so they can get what they want on the trip.

My just turned 10 ds is getting:
an ipod nano
3 lego sets
nerf gun (not stampede but another BIG one)
cuponk game
air hog hawkeye helicopter
SW figures

for his stocking:
mighty beanz and track
itunes card
lego mystery minifigs
electric toothbrush

Man what I wouldn't give for my 8 year old (nearly 9) to ask for Legos. :3dglasses Nope he asked for a flat screen tv for his bedroom or a wireless adapter and XBOX Live. We are doing the Kinect thing (XBOX motion thing) as a family gift. He will be getting his wireless adapter for his XBOX and I will be adding every parental control I can to his XBOX. But this way he can play with my fiance or even his Dad if he has XBOX live. It's a way for him to play with others because he is an only child and he enjoys having someone to play with him.

Star Wars Legos
Club Penguin game for Wii
Super Scribblenauts for DSi
Pajama pants

I love this thread because I'm at a loss for DBF's DS9...

I have an ornament, PJs, and a book (traditional every year gifts) as well as a basketball and a movie (not sure which one yet....) but I don't know what else to get him :confused3. I really want to get him an iPod of some kind, but I can't really afford it :(....

So I currently have no idea....will definitely be following this thread for ideas! :thumbsup2
