Hey Kim! Thanks, they were being pretty darn good that morning - lots of excitement and all that! They must have asked me a million questions. I'll try to keep it family friendly so Emily can read along!

Thank you all!! I really did have a great day. I took the day off from work and was rewarded with French Toast and donuts for breakfast! Then I got presents before DH went to work (so, no I did not sleep in). Unbeknownst to me, while we were at Vero Beach, Sarah had made a pressed penny. So since we bought DVC at Vero, I was given the penny! She also wrote a story and did some art pictures. I also got a laptop lapdesk thing that helps keep it cool underneath. I've wanted that for a while.
Then we hung out for a while and the girls and I went shoe shopping. Paige needed sneakers for school. We all got something! I got a new pair of TEVAs!! This time I got a higher heel one with multiple criss cross straps. After the BOGO 1/2 off and my 20% coupon, they were $11!! Each of the girls got a pair of fake UGG boots too. Super cute for fall. Not that it's cool enough at all yet!
After DH got home, we went to the MN State Fair. Now, this is a big deal! LOTS of food, walking, people, exhibits, shopping booths, all the news stations and radio stations...It's a lot of fun. My favorite thing (other than the eating) is the Miracle of Birth center. They have all these pregnant farm animals who give birth at the fair and you can watch it and see the babies!!! No one was birthing this time, but there were two calves born today! There were piglets, lambs and goats too. The chicks were hatching out of their eggs. One year we watched a cow being born. It was captivating! So we're all tuckered out and ready for bed now. Very fun day indeed!
Tomorrow I'm also off (my last Friday off) and I think I'm going to take the girls to see Ramona and Beezus. Sarah's read some of the books and loves them. Then in the evening we're getting together with my parents and brother to celebrate my and my dad's birthday (the 24th).
I think I will try to get an update tomorrow or Saturday. Need to get this TR rolling!!!

I just discovered that you started your TR! Great start, sounds familiar (says the fellow Minnesotan that recognizes the snack selection on your airline ). I can't wait to hear all about the BC, since we stay there for the first time in November. And happy birthday! Sounds like you had a good time out at the fair. (I need a food-on-a-stick smilie...here you go: ) Looking forward to more!

Thanks guys!! I did have a great day and now apparently I must watch State Fair!! I have heard of it and seen parts I think. At least I don't have to research what state it is!!!

Going to see Ramona and Beezus shortly. Might be able to do an update before dinner. I'm reading this book that has me sucked in and I don't want to do anything else! Then my folks and brother are coming over tonight. Tomorrow is more likely for an update!

Jackie - yes there are lots of funnel cakes and so many yummy treats. The thing we are famous for at MN State Fair is food on a stick - alligator, pickles, corn dogs, key lime pie, all kinds of deep fried yumminess!!!
It's a bit disgusting if you think too much about it!
