What are the crowds really like?

We have always gone during low crowd times (with the exception of arriving on Thanksgiving Day and staying through the next week). This year I am having to reschedule our trip to December 15-23 so as not to interfere with college. We will be in the parks the 16th-22nd. My plan is to hit all the parks early in the trip and then head to Universal Studios for a day and Blizzard beach for a day and we always spend our last day having a park marathon.

I can guess that the crowds will escalate as Christmas approaches, but what will it really be like? What will wait times be like? Does this sound like a good plan?

Hi Soccer mom,

It will certainly be getting more and more crowded each day you are there. But I think it peaks after Christmas.

Make sure you double check to see if BB is open while you are there. The last two years it has been closed for rehab until mid-month.
