We have finally decided on what the favors are going to be. We are doing the Asian Chinese take-out boxes (we are having Asian and american cuisine at the reception). We are choosing boxes that are a little bigger than normal and inside we have a 3X2 picture frame of us, a Godiva Chocolate bar and a tin of mints. And sitting on top of the boxes is personalized white chop-Stitches. (Chopsticks with the names changed :earboy2: Lilo and Stitch is our wedding theme.)

That is SO creative!!! I am still thinking of mine. I am not sure exactly what to do.

Nice idea :)
We bought snowglobes and boxes them up and gave one to each of our guests.

Cinderella Irridescent Glass slippers filled with mickey shapped gummy candy, tied up with purple cellophane and tulle with personalized ribbon and 2 rings.

I'm not sure--I'm thinking of doing the photo holders for name cards and as favors...

We got our favors from www.psaessentials.com. We were very, very pleased with their work. We had the small tins filled with meltaway mints. They made customized stickers with holly and our wedding date and names on them and also included pre-cut pieces of ribbon in the color of my choosing. We assembled the favors. I have also used them for invitations (for my friend’s bridal shower) and I really thought they did great work. They were even able to do custom artwork for me (we needed a swan design for the shower).

We did the small "airline" sized bottles of Bailey's Irish Cream (our last name is Bailey). I printed up tags to attach to each one and tied them with ribbon tha tmatched our decorations. For the kids we had Nemo themed stuff and for the teenagers/those under drinking age we gave Disney candies.
We did have to get approval first from Epcot's executive chef before they allowed us to use the "name brand" favors, but is wasn't a big thing.

We gave out Disney Mugs and $5 starbucks gift cards boxed up with Cds with Disney Love Songs on it which I made.

Cinderella was my theme- did cinderella carriage pewter frames for the place card holders, silverplated slipper bottle opener and a heart shape wine stopper was the favors- I wrapped the boxed wine stopper in white paper placed the silver slipper on top then wrapped both in clear cellophane-tied with ribbon in white, silver & pink (my colors). Came out to be about $5.75 per person. Gave mini princess wedding dressup kits for the girls(found for 1.99 at ToysRUS!) some other dinosaur toy for the boys. We had an intimate luncheon at Palios (Swan) and it was fabulous. FTW was too expensive for the group size we had 26- people started inviting themselves so there went my intimate with FTW. Switched to the Swan and it was wonderful. :earsgirl:

We opted not to do favors and put the money towards an Illuminations dessert party.

We are doing adirondack chair placecard holders (each guest will get one), m&m's, and a sand dollar ornament with our names and the date with a ribbon for an ornament.

If you could not guess, we are doing a beach theme at home...and then we are having our honeymoon at Walt Disney World at the Poly. :Pinkbounc

As for people who are having a Disney Wedding...check out EBAY you would be surprised! :cool1: Thats where I got my placecard holders from and they were 40 cents each cheacper then if I had purchased them elsewhere even in bulk on an online store. :teeth:

Some ideas may be a castle, slipper, or horse and carriage placecard holder. I kind of like these since the guest can use them as a picture holder at the end of the wedding! ;)

Happy Planning,
Trista :)

I found a lady on Ebay who makes the cutest little party/wedding favors... some with a Disney theme!

I ordered 50 tea light candles that had personalized labels on them with our names and a little picture of Cinderella and Prince Charming dancing in front of the castle. They were each wrapped in white netting....

...all for $12!

I know that tea light candles aren't the most useful or creative of favors, but they were just too cute and matched our Cinderella theme! :)

Hi all,

We had a Cinderella sub-theme... not at Disney though. We made CD's with music that was special (and fun) everything from our first dance (Promise from Illuminations) to the Hampsterdance. The top of the jewelcase insert had their table numbers on it, inside was the menu. the inner fold had all of the CD info and a special note from us. Hot glued to the top (in between the Table Number and the name) was a plastic slipper. it was wonderful...
