I think DH is going to smoke venison. We’ll see how that goes. Probably a salad and I might need a few sides for the kids. Pretty sure they aren’t going to eat deer meat.
Of course there’s always thisMy dad I ran out this morning at 7 and picked strawberries. What is your favorite thing to do with them? Looking for ideas. I’ll be making jam over lunch.

That sounds fantastic! Do you freeze it before you process it the second time? If so how linf do you freeze it for? I do have an ice cream maker but the part is not frozen.Of course there’s always this

Easy to add additional flavors like herbs or use other fruits. Soon I’ll be making mango sorbet.
PS no ice cream machine needed; just use a blender or food processor and process twice before pouring into a 8” or 9” cake pan or loaf pan. The second time I blend I pour into empty Talenti jars.
Sorry, writing faster than my brain. That sounds fantastic! Do you freeze it before you process it the second time? If so how linf do you freeze it for? I do have an ice cream maker but the part is not frozen.
Thank you! I am going to make it tonight. If am excited I love sorbet!Sorry, writing faster than my brain.
Process once with all ingredients.
When it begins to freeze, remove, blend again and allow to freeze completely.
In the Notes section of the recipe, “hl” has all the steps needed for processing w/o an ice cream machine minus one suggestion: add a pinch of salt.
Hope it’s good for you. I really didn’t want to share eating the dessert with anyone. Oops![]()
