We've FALLen for WDW...An October 2010 PTR! New 10/14 TR Link Added

Sorry to hear that you had to cancel the cruise. But there is always next year. :goodvibes:goodvibes Anxious to hear about further ADR's.

Sorry to hear you had to cancel the Cruise, but there is always next year like Kathy said :)

I spent the last few nights creating updated documents and playing with my ADRs. This is what I am happy with.

Saturday (Arrival Day)

Lunch: CSR Counter Service
Dinner: Plaza

We will probably get to the resort around 1230-100pm. I hope we can check in right away but if not I am going to pack our swimsuits in our carry-on so we can change and hang out by the pool after we eat lunch. Either way we will unpack and hang out by the pool for a while (weather permitting) before heading to MK around 500 for our dinner at the Plaza and to watch Spectro/Wishes and catch a ride or two before MK closes at 11pm. I am really looking forward to watching Spectro and Wishes WITHOUT taking pictures and just soaking up the magic.

Sunday

Breakfast: 1900 Park Fare
Lunch: FW Counter Service (Sunshine Seasons, most likely)
Dinner: Le Cellier (Woo! I grabbed this up by pure chance!)

MK opens at 900am this day so I want to get to MK in time to watch the opening ceremony and then head over to GF for our breakfast. We will then head to Epcot to spend the afternoon in Future World. We have an ADR for Le Cellier at 835, so I'm thinking we will just stick around Epcot the entire day.

Monday

Breakfast: Kona
Lunch: DHS Counter Service (Starring Rolls, Pizza Planet)
Dinner: Narcoosee's

Tonga Toast! After that, we will head over to DHS. We will hang out at DHS until around 500 before heading back to CSR to freshen up and head back out to the GF for our 845 ADR at Narcoosee's. MK is scheduled to be open until 100am, I'm not sure we'll have any time/energy to check it out after Narcoossee's but that is the only ADR time I could get. I'll keep checking. 7pm would be a great time to eat.

Tuesday

Breakfast:Snack Credits
Lunch: CSR Counter Service
Dinner: Food & Wine Festival

Today will be a relaxing day. We'll sleep in until whenever and hang out by the pool before heading to Epcot in the late afternoon to hit up the Food & Wine festival.

Wednesday

Breakfast: Boma
Lunch: Yak & Yeti
Dinner: DTD (WGPE)

We will start off our AK day with Boma. I am excited because we are not pressed for time today. We can stay at AK until closing if we really needed to. If we find that we do not need a large amount of time at DHS we may hop over to EPCOT for FW's EMH until 12am.

Thursday

Breakfast: Snack Credits
Lunch: Counter Service
Dinner: Tutto Italia

I left the morning and afternoon open because we may want to spend more time at DHS because we won't have an incredibly large amount of time to spend here earlier in the week. If not, we can just pick somewhere else to go, or we can just hang out by the pool again. :) This evening we have an ADR at Tutto and then we will head over to Fantasia Gardens to play some mini-golf!

Friday

Breakfast: Snack Credits
Lunch: CSR Counter Service
Dinner: Food & Wine Festival

Today is pool/laundry/massages day. I am doing laundry on vacation. Yes, I know. But I would rather come home with less laundry than not do any while on vacation. Just one load. I think I will schedule DH's massage first so I can get the laundry done before my massage. After relaxing all morning/afternoon we will head to Epcot again for the Food & Wine Festival.

Saturday

Breakfast: Crystal Palace
Lunch: MK Counter Service
Dinner: Ohana

I am so excited to have breakfast at CP! We will spend the entire day at MK today. (I really like to start and end a vacation at MK.) We don't have to leave until around 800 for our 855pm reservation at Ohana!

Sunday

Breakfast: Main Street Bakery

This won't be a very long trip to MK b/c I think our ME bus will pick us up around 100pm. I would like to get here around opening and have breakfast and then each pick our favorite ride and then head out. We will have lunch at the airport before our flight home.

I really like this plan. I had to cut out a second trip to DTD, but I'm okay with that. (The more I think about the time it takes to get to DTD, the better my decision sounds.) I didn't schedule very much DHS time but I did leave an open day for anything we wanted to do that wasn't scheduled in. I wanted to do a "nicer" dinner on our arrival day but then I decided against it. We will be too tired to enjoy it as it should be anyway.

UGH...It's time for bed. Working 45 hours a week this summer is really catching up with me!!!

Wow you did really great on your ADR's! You have a lot of our favorites (we are trying Kona for the first time this year). We love Plaza, LeCellier, Yak & Yeti and Crystal Palace (puffed french toast -- yum). Boma is a new favorite for breakfast--did it for the first time last year and loved it.

Everything sounds great, with great restaurant choices :thumbsup2

Your plans sound great! Looks like you did well with the ADRs, even with having to change the trip around.
I'm jealous of you relaxing days- teach me how to plan those!

Great choices! A lot of those are on my list of places to try! :thumbsup2 I'm especially excited to hear what you think of Narcoossee's - I want to try some signature restaurants on our trip, and that's one that I'm thinking about!

So sorry to hear that you canceled your cruise. But your DH is right - you can always cruise in the future. You won't lose me as a follower. :) I'm glad you were able to set all your itinerary like you wanted it.

We just returned from Oasis of the Seas and loved it. I would highly recommend this one or Allure of the Seas for your cruise. Beautiful ship with so much to do! It will have a casino, which Disney doesn't have, and probably fewer families with kids. But for some reason I feel like the Disney ship might be cleaner and have better food. (never been on a Disney though, and the Oasis was really clean)

So sorry to hear about cancelling the cruise but your plans/ADRs look great!

your whole itinerary sounds so relaxed! I planned a non-park day for our trip, too, with the intention of washing laundry! I know a lot of people don't do it, and I always used to be against it....but my BF and I used to go to Disney for a week and it was no big deal. Now we go for 10 days and it's just too much to try and catch up on when we come back. Your plans sound great, and definitely keep checking the ADR availability...you might end up getting a better time for Narcoosee's after all!

Thanks! I promise I read your PTR btw-I just often don't post much anymore b/c of how crazy busy summer has been! I am going to go over in a bit, though, and post!

I have to actually put them into the schedule. Even if I write "open" I'll be tempted to go to a park! I also just think about how much time we actually need in the parks. I'm thinking October may be the busiest month that I've gone in-except when I went for SB in H.S!

We chose Narcoossee's over Cali Grill b/c of the reviews that I've been hearing about the loudness of Cali Grill. We went to Citrico's on our honeymoon and it was great-we just want to try somewhere new. :) I will definitely be reporting back on our experience. :)

DH's aunt went on Oasis of the Seas a month or two ago as well. I've heard mixed reviews on the better food. I need to do more research!

Your ADR's look great! They are making me hungry!

Yeah, if I look over them when I am hungry I get easily tempted to add more. I need to stick with what we have b/c it allows us some flexibility and I like that!

So sorry to hear about cancelling the cruise but your plans/ADRs look great!

That's okay! I am getting so excited for our trip. Less than 100 days now!

I love the relaxing part of a vacation. When we went to Vegas, 2 of the 3 days I layed out by the pool for a few hours before hitting the strip. Being a nanny (just as being a SAHM is-I'm just guessing) is very physical and stressful (especially b/c I always ask myself "Would their parents let them do that?" "Am I being too hard/easy on them?") and I don't want my vacation to be like that so I make sure to make it more laid back. With this itinerary we are still spending plenty of time in all of the parks while still taking it easy!

We are going to do laundry, too. Only because coming home from vacation and having 3 loads of laundry really makes the vacation mood go away quickly! I'll come home with one load and smile!

I tried checking the ADR availability last night but I was having trouble...

Life Update!

DH and I have been busy bees so far this summer! This past Friday we went to the Taste of Chicago (after work) and then visited with DH's brother and his wife so we got home late. Saturday we went to my Dad's for my younger brother's H.S. graduation party and then went over to a fest the town was having to play some Bingo, another late night. Today, I cleaned the house and we went to see Toy Story 3 (on IMAX 3D!) and then went to DH's sisters' (yes, both sisters) graduation party. We called it an early night b/c we need some down time before the work-week begins again! :) DH and I decided to go away for the holiday weekend b/c it seems like our only way to have some time together without being lured in with family parties and such! We are going to stay at the same B&B in MI again. (They had 1 room left!) I can't wait to go to the beach!!!!

I hope everyone is having a great summer!!!!! :)

You guys are super busy and summer barely started! Sounds like you're having fun, though!
Glad you got a room at the B&B, have a blast!

I am loving your ADR's! We finally made our ADR's about 2 weeks ago - hooray! :yay: Tried for Le Cellier, but there was nothing available at all. That is OK though, we are happy with what we have, especially since there will be 8 of us for most meals. We are getting a date night though where we'll be swapping kids. For our date we are trying out The Wave at the CR. We've never been, but thought it sounded interesting. Plus even if dinner isn't good, we'll just ride around on the monorail! :thumbsup2

We've got Crystal Palace (8:20 - before RD! Can't wait for some empty park pics!)
The Wave (while the kids and my cousin will be at Cap'n Jacks at DTD)
Sci-Fi Drive in (for DS's birthday)
Liberty Tree Tavern before MNSSHP
Spirit of Aloha dinner show, we've never done a dinner show, but my cousin has done HDDR, so she wanted to try SoA
Coral Reef
Garden Grill Character Dining (while my cousin and her DH go to Tutto Italia for their date, we'll have her kids)
So nothing too fancy, but it still should be fun! Oh and we are doing Kids Nite Out so all 4 grown ups can hit the F&WF for some adult beverages!:woohoo:

Have a great weekend for the 4th, we'll be at Holland State park on Saturday as long as there isn't rain!

You make me tired just reading all that you do. Hope you have a great holiday weekend at the B&B.

I think that once we get through the middle of July things will start to calm down! We have projects around the house we wanted to get done this summer, too! (Painting the garage and staining our fence surrounding our little patio! I'm so looking forward to staying at the B&B. DH said it's just what we need after being on the go for the past month+!

Woo hoo for a weekend away! :woohoo: It sounds like you need some relaxing, down time! Take lots of pictures! :goodvibes

I promise to take pictures! :) We are staying in a different room at the B&B. I hope to sneak a picture or two of our breakfast without seeming weird. It will be a full house, though. Every room is booked (we took the last one) and I think they have like 12 or something like that!

I've thought about trying the wave but nothing jumps out at me and DH would not like any of the choices. Oh well. Yay for CP! I'm so excited to try there for breakfast! Puffy French Toast! We are hitting up F&W 2 nights, I'm so excited for the food and drinks! :)

You make me tired just reading all that you do. Hope you have a great holiday weekend at the B&B.

Haha! I am tired myself. I spent my evening running errands and making DH some of my baked potato wedges to take to work for a "taste-test" tomorrow. (They are having a Taste of "insert name of his company here" in the middle of July and the winning team gets an extra personal day. They separated them into main dish, dessert, and side. There are four groups for each category and one group in each category wins.)

You will have a chance to take a cruise at some point! Love your new plans--you scored some great ADRs.

:woohoo: for another weekend getaway!! Have a wonderful time relaxing--sounds like you have earned it!
