I have that same tote bag! We got it when we added on @ AKV... the bag we got for our original contract at SSR is smaller, and doesn't actually say DVC on it. The DVC tote is currently packed, waiting to be my carry-on bag when we leave tomorrow morning for WDW!

Congrats on your DVC purchase, I'm sure it will be as wonderful for you as it's been for us for the last two years!

Oh... and I hope you don't become afflicted with add-on-itis... DH wants to buy at the DVC Hawaii and at BLT... ... it's always a fight to keep him away from the DVC people while we're there, LOL...

Disney for us is the perfect vacation. Not just the magic, the people, the expectations, but we are happy when we travel here, we love it here and can see so many more wonderful memories and experiences to come thru the yrs. It is a place we come back to all the time and especially for Michael…he can be a kid here and that is so important.

No worries...you are a busy Mama! like you I'm trying to pick up the pace now and finish this thing off. I've been inspired by you to start a blog, but the boards and this TR keep me from it to keep it steady, so I figure I'll have more time when I'm not concentrating on the TR and something to keep me busy till I can really get moving on the 010 trip

Well off to play a quick game of Disney SORRY w/ Mae before bed (not that SORRY is a quick game ) and I have a few busy days ahead so I'll be trying to get the Epcot posts typed up and then get back to this TR.

tomorrow, my former Nursery Committee from church is taking me out to lunch to say thanks for my serice over the past 10 yrs and then this week back to swim lessons in the mornings and Monday night I'm seeing the new Harry Potter Movie and please send some well wishes our way as we have two important appointments this week as well for the twins.

Aldine we have been suspecting for some time now she may have ADD or ADHD like her brother Michael (no Autism though) Tuesday night she meets w/ the psycatrist (we have talked w/ him already alone) and we may have a possible diagnosis and course of action. And then Thursday night Michael has his appointment before school starts w/ the same doctor for a med and overal check-up. The last appointment he had a hard time w/ the doctor, so I hope this one will go smoother. The doc always seems cool, but for Matt and I it's tough.

anyways sorry in advance for a small delay in the TR...but glad I left you w/ some fun news to tide you over, see you on your reports when I can

Buying into DVC was one of the best things we ever did (particularly when you pay it off!) We've been members since 2000 and we almost sold after the 2nd year - I am SO glad we didn't. Having DVC makes a Disney vacation one of the most economical trips we can take - which has really come in handy - particularly two years ago when unexpected overseas (read: expensive!) travel due to family matters left the vacation coffers a little dry. That year, we had a wonderful vacation that cost next to nothing because of DVC, cheap airfare and park tickets on Disney Visa points And, being able to take our (grown) kids is awesome You'll love it! Best of luck with the doctor appointments!

DH and I went through the tour when we went in 2002 and were this close to taking the plunge, but we didn't.... I'm sorry we didn't.

Alex will see the GI doc on one day and both boys see the neurologist another day. Then each day we are sticking around to participate in a study being done by the Autism Consortium. It's a great study because the whole family is evaluated and the results are put into a huge database that can be accessed by many different research groups. Anyways... enough about me. Good Luck this week - I hope everything goes well.

That does sound like a very busy week for you...today is Aldine's appt, when I check in tommorow, I'll let you know about that. But Michael had some trouble yesterday

Not sure if it just is the winding down summer stuff or just a really off day, but he and his sister fought at swim (in the same group ) and then Matt got a call from our church's children's director last night that Michael got upset because he thinks a girl called him a "weird-o" but she says she said what he was doing was weird...kinda the same thing isn't it. They know he has Aspergers, but I think this was the 1st time he had an actual meltdown episode and they didn't know how to handle it, plus some issue w/ his sound canceling headphones I don't know. I need to call and follow-up w/ her. I know her well which is helpful, but still it can get sticky in situations like this. BLAH!
