We've booked the babies 1st trip and she's not even born yet! Dec 2010!

Great updates!! I am really enjoying reading about your previous trip. It is amazing how young Emily looks compared to how she looks now. :goodvibes

Sure, you got sleep on your Anniversary night...:rolleyes1 That's why Eva is around today. :rotfl: j/j

What a view from your second Poly room!

I have to say that is one thing I am least looking forward to my trip in September--the heat! :scared1: I remember from our trip in May, that it was warm but I guess September is even worst (or at least the humidity levels are).

I am glad we live close so we can get together!! The girls love playing together. Lilian asks when she gets to see Emily. :goodvibes Hopefully someday we can travel to Disney together, or be there at the same at least. :goodvibes

Hey Stephanie! Thanks for the great pictures of the girls!! Emily loves playing with Lilian too! We'll definitely have to go to Disney at the same time. Nickie and I are planning the first week of Oct 2011 for the Halloween Fun Run 5K! You could book a bounce back while you are there in Sept!!!:thumbsup2

I'm glad you're enjoying the flashbacks! Emily does look so much younger! Wait until you see the room from our 3rd Poly room!! Spoiler Alert.....We were upgraded!!:lovestruc

Urgh...photobucket is not cooperating right now, so I will have to continue later.....

Ok, let's try this again!!:surfweb:

Before I start with the flashback, I wanted to share this amazing photo of Eva that Stephanie (Charlefours) took while at the mall on Wednesday!

Awwwww, my cute little baby!!

Anyway, let's get on with the show....

Thursday, May 14, 2009!
Today we had to check out and check back in because we had 2 reservations for this trip. First the b4g3 deal and then the last three nights were booked room only with a 40% off deal. When we originally checked in, we asked to stay in the same room for both ressies and was told that shouldn't be a problem, but when I went to the front desk to check back in, I was told our new room was in the Hawaii Longhouse with a MK view! Whaaaaaaaa? Now, if any of you are familiar with the Poly, you know that the Hawaii bldg is only Concierge Level! Plus a MK view, how could we resist? I told the CM that we needed more time to get packed up because we had a 10am CRT ressie (it was 9am at this time). She extended our check out time to 1pm, gave us our new room keys and we headed to the MK with smiles on our faces (although we forgot the camera in all of the excitement, had to use our phones)! Here we met Manderella or Cinderfella, whichever you prefer! (she was a little manly!:rotfl:)

After breakfast, we went back to the Poly to pack up. We called Bell Services to come and get our bags and headed to the Hawaii Longhouse with a grin from ear to ear! See the YELLOW kttw card!

When we walked into our room, this is what we saw:

After checking out our draw dropping view, we went to see the concierge lounge! Having the CL was great because we were no longer on a dining plan so eating the free CL food really helped us save money! I will say though, I would never pay for CL, totally not worth the extra $$$$$! I will, however, take any free upgrades to CL that Disney wants to give us!!:thumbsup2

So, once we came down from our upgrade high, we headed back to the MK where it started to drizzle.

We closed the park and went back to our new room with turndown service!

We got some snacks from the CL and sat on the balcony enjoying this:

I was such a slacker last summer that I never made it this far on my TR, so for the first time here is.....

Friday, May 15, 2009!
This morning we slept in a bit and got some breakfast from the CL and spent some more time in the pool and on the beach!

After getting a nap in and cleaning up, we headed to Epcot for EMH! I should mention that this is the night the Mike "drank around the world"!

We toured the countries, Mike drank, we snacked and then....Dun Dun Duuunnnnnnn! We realized after getting off Maelstrom that we'd lost MeeMee!:scared1: We went back to Germany, the last place we remember having her with us and looked and looked and looked. We were all getting very sad at this point because MeeMee was not only Emily's lovey, but a part of our family. :sad1: Finally, we made it back to Norway and as I turned my head for one last look, I saw her, sitting atop a fence post where some other parent must have realized how loved MeeMee was and put it there for us to find! Thank GOD, because that was the last of the MeeMee's. We used to have 3 MeeMee's in rotation, but 2 of them had been lost (one was lost at Target the night before we left) Anyway, we all felt relieved to have MeeMee back with us!

Some random pics of Illuminations!

Oh, and did you know that the bridge between China and the African Outpost is a drawbridge? That's how they bring out the Illuminations stuff! I saw it for the first time this night! I thought it was cool that I had never realized this before!:thumbsup2

I forgot to tell you that Mike had fun drinking around the world and managed to do it without getting sick  by pacing himself! He took all night to conquor this, but we saw some people who were practically running from country to country for their drinks. I can't imagine how they were feeling afterwards!:confused3

Great updates! Wendy
what wonderful memories from last May! Emily is so cute with all the characters but my favorite picture was the one where she is dancing "off Kilter" I believe that was your phrase...to sweet!
:wave2:

Wendy- you will have to copy and paste these last few updates into your trip report!! CL looks awesome! I wouldnt pay for it either.... we have too many must have places to eat at so it I think it wouldnt be saving us any money! Great pics- I love the one of Emily and Mike sitting (in Minnie's house?) I am totally going to have to get a picture of my kids trying Beverly and the rest of the gang who knows nothing about it... :rotfl2:

I'm sorry that I missed yesterday's post, but it was a crazy day. It started with me and the girls heading to my SIL's house to make pierogis. We made 172 pierogis then we scarfed them down! Afterward, we had to take Emily to the dress rehersal so I am going to combine May 16 & 17 because we left early on the 17th and there isn't much to tell. However, I wanted to share a few pictures from Emily's dance recital dress rehersal yesterday.

OMG!! She was so cute :cutie:, I was choked up and crying the whole dance.

May 16 & 17, 2009!
Today we woke up and went to the MK again. We always start and end our vacations with MK, it's a tradition!! We decided we would let Emily pick the rides we went on today, so the 1st, 2nd & 3rd rides were Goofy's Barnstormer!:rotfl:
1036.jpg

I think we also went on the Cinderella's Golden Carousel, IASW, Peter Pan, HM, Pirates Aladdin, Dumbo and Carousel of Progress.

We spotted this guy on the CoP!

I caught these animals in Fantasyland

Mike and I took turns riding Splash Mountain, one of our favorites!! At this point it was about 2pm so we headed back to the Poly to relax!

We sat on our balcony and watched Wishes!

1109.jpg

As Wishes was concluding, I heard Emily making some wierd noises, she was sleeping at the time, so I went in the room to find her barfing all over herself.:scared1: We freaked because this was at the height of Swine Flu! She wasn't running a fever and slept pretty well, but had a hard time keeping water down the next morning. We were catching DME at 9:30am and wasn't sure if they would let her on the flight sick, but fortunately she was feeling better by the time we got to the airport. We chalked that episode up to the excess of Yoo Hoo and gummie sharks in the concierge lounge.:rotfl2:

Anyway, on the 17th, we got up, took DME to the airport and flew home.:sad2: I was feeling the Disney blues for the next week. I was super tired and just wanted to sleep for hours. Finally, a week after we returned home, I decided to take a preganacy test and WHAAAAAAAA? Next thing you know, we have Eva!:lovestruc

The End!

Emily is just so adorable. It is AMAZING how much she has grown this year. Myles grew so much too between the ages of 3 to 4... it is a big year for sure. We had Owen too during that time and I think that aged him some too. Thanks for sharing your great pics and FINISHING your trip report. :rotfl:

So today I start week 2 on C25K! I am a little scared. Week one was hard and I thought maybe I need to repeat it. LOL:rotfl2: I have a feeling that this "9 week Program" is going to take me the whole 17 months to complete... Don't worry I will be ready by next October!!

loved your report. your daughter is just so beautiful!! and love that you got upgrade to concierge!!! just made the trip that much more special!! thanks for sharing it all. :goodvibes:thumbsup2

Emily looks so cute in her dress rehearsal pics.:cutie: I also loved that last update. What a great souvenir you came home with too!!! No souvenirs like that for me I hope. :lmao:

It only took me a year, but I finished the TR!!! I'm a total slacker!:lmao:

I can't wait to start the C25K! I went looking for running shoes this weekend and found a pair, but the 10 was too small and the 11 was too big so I had to order a 10.5! As soon as I get them, I am starting! My feet grew a size and a half when I was preggers with Emily. My old running shoes are a size 9!! I downloaded some C25K music that tells you when to walk and when to run! I think the program will take me more than 9 weeks too, but we'll see! I'm actually looking forward to doing this because we are doing it together and are going to be running the 5K together! It will be so fun if a bunch of us run & trick or treat together!

Oh, I'll send you a PM with the DVC info. You can get DDP & tickets through the renter, but you don't get free dining with DVC. You'll have to price out both DVC & free dining to see which will be most cost effective for you guys! I'm assuming that FD will happen again next year and the dates will probably be through 10/1 so if you check in before 10/1, you get FD for the entire week! :cool1:

I changed my Oct ticker to show our new dates!! I can't wait!!:woohoo:

Hey all! Thanks for indulging me while I flashed back to last years trip! It was fun to remember all of the fun things we did as a family of 3!! Emily looked so little last year! It's amazing how much she has grown!:cutie: We can't wait to visit Disney as a family of 4!! I hope we can brainwash, I mean, I hope Eva loves WDW as much as the rest of us! How can she not, it's in her blood and her whole existance "was all started with a mouse!":rotfl:

On to the current Disney planning!!! I have been thinking about not going to US/IOS. I've been reading some reports that "Pooh" sized people won't fit on the Enchanted Bench for the new Forbidden Journey ride at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. :scared1: The whole reason we want to go to US/IOA is for WWoHP and if we can't ride the most anticipated attraction, then it won't really be worth it. I'm going to wait and see what people are reporting after the ride opens and make plans for both going to US and not.

I'm kinda thinking we might just go to Sea World instead. I know Mike and Emily would LOVE that!

I'm also getting excited because......

:cool1:18 days until I can make our ADRs!!!:cool1:

OMG, I have to tell you this true story that I heard the other day!!

A friend of ours has a friend who has an 18 year old son who is on the Autism spectrum. His Mom was at a friend's house for a couple of hours and kept calling home to make sure that her son was OK. At one point when she called to check in her son picks up the phone and says, "I caught a troll!" and hangs up. Confused, the mom calls back a few seconds later and the son answers and says, "He's in the closet!" and hangs up again so a little scared the mom calls again and the son says, "He can't get out!" and hangs up one more time. At this point the mom is freaking and immediately leaves for home. As she pulled onto her street, she sees police cars and ambulance outside her house, so now she is totally FREAKED!:scared1:

It turns out that a census taker, who happend to be a little person, had come to the door and the boy grabbed him and locked him in the closet thinking he caught himself a troll! :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl::laughing:

Fortunately, the census taker did not press charges because he understood the boys condition, but also because door-to-door census takers are supposed to be out in pairs and this man was out on his own.

I guess he called the police with his cell phone from the locked closet!!

18 Days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:cool1::banana::thumbsup2 I am so excited to make the ADR's!!!!!! Our date is July 31st. We are actually going to the cape for the week and I found out the house has internet access so I am so excited.... what a way to complete the week! I think I need a reminder of what you are booking.

That is crazy about Universal... why would they ever build a brand new attraction and not make it for "pooh sized people" :confused3

I am so excited you are going to do the C25K!!!! AND that we are both going to be in Disney again together!!!! I need to ask Wayne to get that music on my IPOD for me... I am clueless when it comes to that stuff.... I have been using a stop watch LOL:rotfl2:

Hey Wendy! I know I am down to 17 days for ADR's I can't believe how quick time is going!!!

As far as US/IOA I hope that is the not the case. I can't wait to hear full reports when it officially opens. Harry Potter is the whole reason we are going too in Dec.!!!

OMG the troll story was too funny!!! :lmao: Poor kid!

(lost my post...try this again)

Wendy that story is too funny...it was really nice of the guy not to press charges and understand; but, I bet he was scared!
I hope he can get a good laugh from it after he is able to calm down...but, I bet he finds a buddy to walk the streets with next time!

Great ending to your TR! I bet you guys have the most beautiful souvie any one has had the blessing to take home from Disney!!!

Emily is a gorgeous dancer! I remember for Gwendolyn's first recitial I cried the entire time...I don't think it had anything to do with the fact that I was in labor for Dayne and had no business climbing all those steps...

and one more note: I can not believe to hear that about HP! Danny had a few rides he had to have special seating for because of his height but was not told he could not ride...(the Simpson's he had to ride in the front seat==poor us; and he said if he gained any weight at all there were a few rollercoasters in both parks that he was pretty close to with ht and wt--Space MTn was one of them)...I can't wait to read what people think about it...I wonder if the soft opening weekends have started it should be soon...
:wave2: Connie

Good luck on the C25K. I downloaded several podcasts...Carli's I think onto my Ipod. I bought an app for the Iphone when I got it that will use my playlists for the music. It's a lot easier to do the program when you can listen to your music or good music anyway and have audible cues on when to run and when to walk. :goodvibes

I will be starting again as soon as we get back from Disney so hopefully we can all work together and meet the goal. Hope you all don't mind that I invited myself!

If we don't chat between now and then, have a great week Wendy!!!
