I hope your husband is safe and sound and coming home soon. I can't image having mine gone for long periods of time, well sometimes I can....![]()
Still snowing a lot with not much wind....*knock on wood* it stays that way.
Thanks.
We get to see him next month, and he should be home to stay in June. I hope. I'm really wishing he was here now, though. We're doing okay by ourselves, but this is the first big weather thing I've had to deal with alone out here in the sticks. Did lots of them years ago as a single mom in the city, but that's different. For one thing, you can walk to the store.

My husband (my boyfriend then) was driving a big burly Suburban at the time, and he went and got her. She lived maybe a mile from me, and it took him an hour to get to her house. He kept having to backtrack and try different roads because there were so many trees down across the roads. He four-wheeled it over the branches, but whole tree trunks were out of the question. LOL
My goodness, we had a fireplace and my family was into search and rescue--we had everything we needed to survive for a month. Dumb bunny.
My kids were thrilled with the ice cream idea. They are having some right now (BRRR!).
I love the snow but the one thing I don't love so much is when I got stuck on 167 for 6 hours
on Thursday after I got off work. I was coming from Renton. I was very upset when I got home at 10:30pm
They also closed west valley hwy. so, everything south was closed down until morning time. My husband came over to pick me up and take me on all the back roads so we could get home. Now, it's not really snowing right now but it was for a long time today and it was coming down pretty good too. The winds were never really a problem here. I want more snow as long as I don't have to
around here anymore.
Glad you finally made it home safely, but what a nasty commute!
