We were out for eight and a half days, I remember hitting my breaking point on that last day and crying while filling up the generator....again. I had the TV on and was laying there feeling sorry for myself when the news did a live broadcast from just down the street and they had power. I went running into the street and sure enough the lights were coming on.
The girls are all excited to sleep in the living room, they want to know if they can eat in their "bedroom" tonight. I think they're talking about making a fort too since they're sleeping on the floor in the middle of the sectional.
Looks like the winds may not be as strong, they're saying 25-45mph for us tonight.
I called my friend in Moses Lake the other day and asked her how she was doing over there, she wanted to know what the heck I was on. Apparently it was fine over there and she hadn't been watching the news.
