Hi Angie.....I'm a little tired because we took the red eye back last night and didn't get a whole lot of sleep. But I'm going through my pictures and reminicing about my trip and I'm happy about it all.....such a great trip, such great memories.

How are you, now that you're home?

Back at work this morning. Nothing has changed. :(

Here is a link to the photo gallery I've set up:

Ian,
Your photos are stunning! I don't know how you can think up those shots but they were so much fun to look at.
I enjoyed meeting you and Sukie at Palo's that one morning for brunch.
Hope Mrs. Bennett is well. . .

Well, its hard to believe its been a week since we turned the ship over to other cruisers. I'm still fighting my sinus infection/cough although am about 80% back to normal. We spent the weekend in Coronado with all of our tablemates from our last year's cruise. Had a blast on our final vacation-type of time for the year. Now back to work and man have we got a list of things to do this summer. It's the time when we accomplish the majority of our prep/planning that guides our entire next 18 months. We got several vacations planned for next year with Hawaii and Las Vegas on the schedule. And many 5K's on the schedule. So, as of today we are off and running full speed. My house is still a mess with packing stuff all over the place. The yard work was a bit overwhelming, but we'll peck away at all of it bit by bit. We always have plenty of folks visiting here for the summer, so we'll be doing lots of tours of DL and the beaches. We got caught up on almost all of our tivo'd shows, loved Grey's Anatomy and Lost. Still have Moonlight.

So John and I are sitting here laptop to laptop having coffee....he doesn't go back to work until tomorrow. Naturally, we discussed the subject of Back to Back on the Tortola cruise.....we think we will do this too with everyone else. We decided that we like the Caribbean much better than the West Coast of Mexico. In the Pacific we had to deal with the jellyfish while snorkeling and some said the water was too cold. I'm spoiled, give me the Caribbean!

We're glad we did the PC crossing, but we won't do it again. We didn't love the ports of call......we loved the people we cruised with. Our favorite ports of call so far were on the 11 night Southern Caribbean. We would do that one again in a heartbeat.

For today, we're planning a one week visit to Orlando and WDW this September for our 18th wedding anniversary and then we'll do the back to back Tortolla in Sept 09. We're so used to travelling in Sept for our anniversary, that we really have gotten spoiled because of the lesser amount of crowds at the Parks and the discounted pricing. We're also more used to being out in the Florida and Caribbean sun at the end of the Summer and not at the beginning. We really had to watch it out in the sun this time around.

So we're home for one day and we're already planning our next two Disney trips. Remember......Resistance is futile!

I will send you a PM

Can you send me one too please. We got a gift on our last night on the boat so I'm thinking maybe that's what everyone else is getting at home if they didn't get it onboard. Not sure. Please let me know. Thanks.

John is already working on magnets for the next cruise.....can you say OCD!!!

I have gotten that flu/sinus/infection thing full board....like you and Nan. I am just getting up and it is noon here in the East....I feel terrible, but have to get to work for the afternoon.

Your house sounds like mine...don't ya hate it??

Take care and it is good to know there is light at the end of the tunnel with this sickness

Well we might just see you on the B2B. I have just priced it up and it is looking good.

I can't seem to find a decent room to have for the 2 weeks though. Strangly Cat 6's available on Deck 5 for the first week are not available the 2nd, and ones on Deck 6 available the 2nd week aren't available for the 1st week. Looks like we will either have to have a room in an area we aren't as keen on if we want 2 weeks in one room.

I'm a bit annoyed. I missed a few photos I should have taken. I thought I had taken some of Nan, Molly and Noel before the DTD meet but didn't. :confused3 I also never took one of our decorated SR door! Plus loads of others. Like someone else said I too wish I had taken more of people. Tut!

that's a shame Maz, I'd like to have seen them on your door!::yes::

Maz
great photo's of the champagne girl 'do'! thank you!

Well after three weeks and three days vacation, we did finally make it home today. Booooooooooo !

Sorry you are still ill. Neither of us here caught anything which is very unusual. I think I am so old I have had all the bugs now and am immune!!!;)

I did always used to catch something on the flight over which developed 3 days after arriving!! Planes are the worst place to catch things. Then I felt bad for much of the vacation.

Just watched 3 recorded Dr. Who's this afternoon whilst I was ironing and Dising!! don't feel as guilty that way.

Felt good today so hopefully the jetlag is over.

Hello everyone. I've been busy the last few days and haven't been on here. Does anyone know how to get to the last thread? There were some pictures on there that I didn't save yet.

I didn't even fly home and I felt tired for a week. I just starting feeling better over the weekend. I had no motivation for anything. I guess it didn't help that Brooke was sooooo sick.

We just got back last night!!! and promptly went to bed!!

It was great meeting some of the wonderful people we have been chatting with over the 264 days...sorry I missed so many i wanted to meet...but it is amazing how sometimes life just gets in the way

The urge to start planning a new adventure has not hit yet....still way too tired to think that far ahead....yet

I'm hoping that is were they will be going in 2010. I'm on that one for sure. I already have a dummy date booked and wherever Disney's special cruise is in 2010 I want to be there.::yes:: ::yes::
