Well one week is just fab. Our second week is kind of provisional as I booked it to get it booked if you know what I mean. It can be cancelled later. We should be having a few days at WDW before the cruise and a week or so after too.

You must introduce yourselves on the that cruise thread ya know!!

Going to put the kettle on for a cuppa. Postponing having to work.
Marilyn, if I, possibly the laziest of the group here, can get motivated today, you can too! ;) :goodvibes Laundry is in the washer, I'm dressed in junky clothes for mowing, and headed out. You get to work too! :duck:

Lazy is such an ugly word.

I prefer to think of it as "energy efficient"

:rotfl2: I love it!

Well, I'm DONE! That didn't take so long. What the heck was I whining about for 3 weeks?! :rotfl: Well, I still have weedwhacking to do, but had to stop part way through because apparently, my mowing and partial weedwhacking did NOT make the bees happy. It had been so cold for so long, they'd all gone into hiding, so I'd forgotten about them. Oops! ;) I can finish the rest tonight when Tyler's here to help me drag the branches & big sticks to the road for pickup.

Wow, it only took me an hour to mow front and back! PLEASE REMIND ME OF THIS NEXT TIME I PROCRASTINATE ABOUT DOING IT! LOL! Plus, I mowed a bit of the empty house next door because it just looks so cruddy to have one side of my driveway have grass as high as my knees. They had to move out due to foreclosure, so I'm not sure who is responsible for mowing now. Just for the fun of it, I might even mow the rest of the front yard just so it doesn't make the neighborhood look so bad.

Thanks Jackie....and good morning! Wow, I feel like I've done so much today already, I can't believe it is indeed still morning! :yay:

I slept in this morning. Fell asleep on the couch in front of the TV, woke up about 4AM and went to bed and slept till 7:45A. That's very late for me, as I'm ususally up between 5:30 and 6A.

Unfortunately, I slept through the coolest part of the day, so won't be doing my Walmart/grocery run till tonight. Was hoping to be at Walmart when they opened...ah well.

I thought all Walmart stores were open 24 hours. :confused3

I'll have you know that I was even on the phone with the Registrar General's Office in Thunder Bay (as if that was going to do something).

I've lived in Illinois since 1983 and I've never had the occasion to call Springfield or ever talk to the state government. Though, come to think about it, I've never even been to Springfield. I don't even think I can find it on a map.

Yep. I have no idea what goes on in Ontario. For me to get a marriage license here in BC I just went to a local Provincial Government office and picked it up. In Ontario it seems all their licensing is through Thunder Bay.

I have a client trying to get a new copy of his Birth Certificate who is from Ontario and he needs to have someone that has known him for 2 years and is allowed to be a guarantor on his application. He's been travelling across the country the last several years looking for work, he doesn't know anyone that can fit the bill. I have been contacting Thunder Bay looking for some sort of loophole to get him his birth certificate. It almost seems easier to get him his passport - except he needs his birth certificate to get that!

Meanwhile I went to the local Provincial office here in BC and picked up a replacement copy for my DD6 in a matter of minutes.

John's playing Indiana Jones on the Wii!!!:rotfl2:

How is it? I've been considering that game as I bought the Star Wars Lego ones for my PS2 and PC and absolutely loved them!

While you are so eager to mow, wanna come over and mow my front and backyards? I hate mowing too. Especially right now because we have cottonwood blowing all over the place this time of year and I am very allergic (sneezing and eyes watering). My DD3 yesterday asked me if it was snowing because there was so much cottonwood in the air and on the ground.

I thought all Walmart stores were open 24 hours. :confused3

Ours aren't here. Except during Christmas rush.

Too funny!! We just had this conversation yesterday - when someone asked how far it was too work in PA I would tell them 22 miles. Here we say 50 minutes (and it's only 20 miles :scared1: )

I'm hoping we can find a place in Jacksonville that we can go back to distances by miles.

:rotfl2: DrHug gets paid for his miles going to his jobs, but even so....he told his agency he will not work more than 1 hour away! :rotfl: He does a mapquest when he fills out his timecard to get the miles.

It is excellent, not what I expected and the Lego actually adds a lot of fun. I wouldn't have any patience, but i can read up things for John!!

morning! Done several loads of laundry, cleaned the living room and am on to making shredded chicken for chicken enchiladas tonight.

Same here. I'm 1.5 hrs away from work. 7-8 hours from Vancouver. 9 hours from Edmonton. Less than 5 minutes from downtown. 10 minutes from the west side of town to the North side.

Hey! We are 5 minutes from downtown too!! :thumbsup2 Maybe we are neighbors! :lmao:

[And if you face the street side... you get 700 feet of THIS... (Angie...Dennis... imagine a nice house with a nice big driveway that you can park the RV in...)

So... Am I nuts????

Oh nice!! We will be right over! It looks like a lovely (said with a Marilyn accent!) place to park the RV!

Are you nuts, well, maybe, but not because you are thinking of buying and building in this beautiful place! :rotfl:

Marilyn,

Canada is a pretty big place too. I just looked it up and I am 2649km (1646 miles) away from DL. We are 4306km (2676 miles) from WDW. Just in comparison, I checked out your distance from WDW and it came in at 6867km (4267 miles). Interesting, I always thought I was about 24 hours away from DL. This would seem to indicate that I am actually about 27-29 hours away.

I think Kaylee is the closest to me in Washington and even that is about 10 or 11 hours away I think.

I think you are right Ken...we are about 2.5-3 hours from Vancouver. I know Nimpo Lake was 12-13 hours for us and I think Williams Lake was about 9, if that gives you any extra idea. Of course, whenever you venture down this way....give us a call! Angie and Dennis are probably about 3 hours away from us, maybe a bit less....
Those last minute DIS meets probably can't happen for us up here in this corner of the states :(
