Small world!! We love that area. My grandma, aunts/uncles, etc. all still live there. My in-laws just moved to Cuyahoga Falls. It makes me wanna move up! But, I'm a FL girl and IDK if I can handle the snow!

(Disney's the magic is calling song plays in the background) "The North is calling @MamaMermaid "
In all seriousness @MamaMermaid , the Northern states do have some benefits compared to the South (not that either is 100% better than the other) that might be worth looking into if you and your family ever do decide to come to the Northeast full-time. Just my shameless plug for promoting the Northeast. Snow isn't scary tbh if you follow basic preparedness (ex. Shovels, snow blower, ice scraper, snow tires, etc.). It's those that do everything last minute that honestly complain the most about it. Snowboarding, skiing, ice skating, ice hockey, ski lodge vacations, and more make the winter season a blast. Most northern states get around 10 snow days (I believe that's the standard but someone correct me if I’m wrong) to use and if they are not used, the schools get to give the students extra days off with them. Just some cool things from my perspective.
Cool. Do you have any questions about the Northeast region as a whole or weather in general? I sometimes think people think they know everything about the Northeast (I include Ohio in the Northeast and Midwest) in general just because they watched Friends and Boy Meets World. Also, has your family told you about nor'easters before? They are our version of a snow hurricane and usually everyone has a story about one that has happened during their lifetime. Of course the only thing kids here remember about them is that they usually get off from school.
