So I called Disney at 7 am this morning with my fingers crossed. As I was mascara-ing my lashes I finally got connected with a CM. I was rushing because I was getting ready for work and the first CM was just slow as molasses (sp?)!! Anyway she verified all my info and then said and your email address is
_______@____.com...I said huh?

It wasn't my email...now I've called there more then 30 times I'm sure over the past yr or so and never have they given me that weird email. I put it to the back of my mind but eventually the less then helpful CM told me nothing was available in value resorts still with that PIN. Since she was a less than helpful CM and I had a extra couple of mins, I called back hoping to get a more than helpful CM. After all those annoying questions (do they really use those?) I got a man who seemed nice enough. I gave him the PIN again and he kind of paused and then said "whose name did this PIN have on it?" I told him I assumed mine but I didn't have it up in front of me...then it dawned on me
You see, when I went to Disney in 2005 I went with an ex of mine

I had just graduated high school and didn't turn 18 until August so, when we made the reservation we put it in his name since he was over 18. THE PIN CAME TO MY EMAIL, WITH ALL OF MY INFORMATION, IN HIS NAME! I haven't talked to him in almost 2 yrs now and most definitely don't get along with him or want to have anything to do with him!

I explained to the CM and he said that I couldn't use the PIN because it wasnt for me!! I was mad to say the least and asked (very nicely considering how mad I was) if he could be removed from all my stuff! I don't want him on anything related to me!! Needless to say, the CM was adamant about not letting me use the PIN...THAT CAME TO MY EMAIL WITH MY HOME ADDRESS ATTACHED TO IT AND ALL.

I should be happy now though because it's one less set of numbers for me to run for prices
Kristin,
I checked my email, and I didn't get your same offer, but I got this one instead:
Your family can enjoy a 3-Night/3-Day vacation package which includes room and
Theme Park tickets,
for as little as
$995.
$ 995 Family of four in a standard room at select Disney Value Resorts for stays most SundayThursday nights 4/195/21/09.
$ 1,093 Family of four in a standard room at select Disney Value Resorts for stays most SundayThursday nights 5/226/27/09.
Price based on 2 adults, 1 junior and 1 child. The number of packages available at this rate is limited. One Park per day. Tickets must be used within 14 days of first use. No group rates or other discounts apply. Offer is nontransferable.
This might work for me & Rachael to take a Mother/Daughter trip for her birthday in May! I'll have to call 'em and see what the quote is w/just 1 adult and 1 child. I really wish they'd join the rest of the hotel world and put in an area w/pin code or discount code entry so we didn't have to call! I don't have all the time in the world to call Disney....
You know what I just realized? I bet I got this because they saw I was pricing cruises, and usually people tack on a 3-nt stay at WDW w/a 3 or 4 day cruise!
It's amazing how their system keeps track of your activity...
Hey Julie,
Mine was basically the same except it said 5 day/5 night between the first days for $535 a person and the second set of dates for $563. That would be perfect for you and Rachael, hopefully they let you use it for just an adult and a child!

I agree with the whole calling thing. Its not like its a 5 min thing either you end up on the phone for a good 20 mins minimum when u call too!

It doesn't matter for me about the PIN anymore anyway, I added a little update above so that should explain why
Hi there,
I got the same offer, but I haven't been looking at any cruise info at all. In fact, I have an 8 night trip booked for this April. I just got off of the telephone with a CM to see if this offer was better than the buy 4 get 3...it is not. It would be great for a long weekend like you suggested in your pp.
My current ressie is one single night, and then 7 nights (buy 4 get 3) with a 7 day park hopper no expiration and the dining plan. My total for the 7 days was 2006.66. When she priced out using the new code it came to 2165ish.
I know that's not your plan, but I wanted to save anyone using the buy 4 get 3 deal the phone call.
Yeah, so far it seems to me like the 4 day 3 free deal is the best one out.
Oh my! All these codes and pin numbers are so confusing!
I wonder if you'll keep getting codes and pin numbers till the trip?
Now, if only those tickets would get bought!
Hopefully I will and not other ppl I haven't talked to in 2 yrs

lol (Look at the update above) I lowered the price on the tickets AGAIN! There's 3 watchers, I wish one would bid!!
Well I posted on other threads but wanted to post here as well!!!
My wife and I were supposed to go Jan. 16-24th...but we've decided to go in late September and can stay at CBR (In a Pirate themed room no less) which I'm REALLY looking forward to. Besides, the weather will be MUCH warmer or just about right..and the crowds are much less. The last time I went was in 1995 (August) and the crowds were perfect--not a long wait for most anything, except Space Mountain.
I hope you have fun on your trip and keep us posted
Can't remember if you said you've been to Disney before but if you haven't feel free to ask me questions as well as others on here.
Welcome!

Thanks for joining! CBR in Sept sounds great...definitely better then Jan, the weather is one of the reasons my BF and I waited til April. I have been to Disney 4 times before but this time I'm going with the love of my life

and am by FAR the most excited ever...and the most informed thanks to the DIS!
My experience this past year was that I got, like, one offer in the beginning of the year for WDW. AFTER I booked my trip to
DISNEYLAND, through WDW Travel, I started getting a pin code a month all the way up until Sept, before we left. When our orig. plan had been to go to DLR, it TORTURED ME!
And then we stayed offsite when we ended up going to WDW anyway so

. I'm just happy all these codes are coming out!
This was my (well not MINE but you know what I mean) first PIN ever...I hope I get more!!!
Disney doesn't allow it but doesn't often shut people down. I do know of several instances where they went through and had eBay pull down all non-licensed Disney related auctions, though.
It's basically an auction at your own risk kind of thing.
Yeah, I had a feeling it was illegal...nothings happened so far so I think I got lucky for once
Typically, when you call the general 800 number for
AAA, you are transferred to their Travel Call Center. These are generic reps that book travel and can be awesome or flat-out horrible. I looked up the number for our local AAA office and called them directly. I got better service AND they are right down the road so it is easy to drop by when I need something.
I did actually call AAA and got a nice lady for once...the AAA branch near me is about 30 mins away so I didn't want to have to go there unless completely necessary. I definitely would think that you get better service if you go directly there though. However, the 10% discount they give me on tickets is not helping me sell those suckers!
