I feel like TSA precheck has been a huge time saver, for relatively little monetary outlay.

It's unclear to me :) whether Clear is worth the pretty significant cost, because I'm not personally experiencing any big delays in getting through security.
MCO the Sunday after New Years Eve is horrendous - was the only time I regretted not having Clear. Otherwise, TSA precheck has seemed sufficient. 🤷‍♀️

Re: Clear. It is very airport dependent vs “just” pre-check. At DTW it is usually slower in Clear. As a Delta flyer, I’ve found it most useful in SEA, DEN, and SFO. It is moderately useful at MCO, LAX, and DCA. The “older” the TSA setup is in a terminal, the better Clear works, more or less.

If I did not have it comped by a card I would not pay for it, even with the delta status discount. Not enough juice for the squeeze.

I feel like with TSA precheck, it really depends on timing and which airport you're flying out of.

I was just in Vegas not too long ago, the prechck line had no wait at all and the clear line there were 3-4 people ahead of me. So I left the clear line and walked straight up to the TSA agent. The guy behind me at the clear line actually follwed me, and while we were putting things through security he said to me "I saw you left the line and you walked right up to the agent no line, so I followed you, it makese sense" Yep!
But there were times the precheck line was at least 10-15 mins wait, and I got through with clear and security all under just a few mins. One time at PHX, the precheck line was so long, probably at least 45 mins. The clear+precheck line was also long, but I got through in about 25 mins. I feel like 80-90% of the time, it's an advantage at my home airport. If I didn't have my CC to pay for it though, not sure if I wouled have gotten it either. But just like @VGCgroupie I'm pretty spoiled w/ it now, and I don't like not having it. 😂

How do you use the reward?
I just bought a week/month’s worth of necessities (no Disney gift card sadly) in the Target app to take advantage of the circle promo for this week and the $5 I’d earned on some prior promo was stored automagically in the app and I was prompted to use it at checkout. Easy-peasy.
I wish nut no. But do you know what I always buy at Target? My bougie unsoft TP. (there's a thread on TP in case anyone thinks I am strange for bringing this up)

Did you mean to type unsoft? It says ultra soft on the box.

Greetings fellow Delta road warrior. Wonder if we’ve passed each other in the SkyClub (I’m the one squishing brownies bites and pita bread into the Starbucks to go cup so I can snack on it mid-flight!)— I fly out of LAX, DTW, MCO, SLC, SEA, and JFK most often, and SEA/MCO are the only ones of that set I ever have to wait more than a few people for pre-check…but I assumed that SEA and MCO are unpleasant no matter what you do.
Luckily its not needed to buy over $100 but one can never have enough SBUX GC imo
Earlier I was going to tell you that you can make this thread about anything you want since it’s YOUR thread (and the poll closed ages ago), but I am not prepared to tolerate another 5 pages of coffee snobbery (that I don’t even understand) at this time. 😛

Yep it’s definitely not soft let alone ultra soft.

Exactly! I also much prefer buying eGCs to trigger Circle rewards bonuses because I was burned way back with out of stock perishable items in store and a return that dropped me below the spend threshold.

Seeing the subtotal equal the bonus amount before Circle card discount is enough to satisfy me. If I get a random denomination that doesn't work with DGCs or ruins the savings I usually add an iTunes ($15) or Nintendo eShop ($10). 🤣

Oh yes the dreaded out of stock… and I rarely shop in person these days.

Same! Mine was a drive up order and since it was perishable it couldn't be shipped to me. Super frustrating to correct via chat. The next time it was a damaged item in shipping that Target refunded and I never did it on merchandise again! :rotfl:

I just did regular groceries but I spent 2x what I needed to earn the circle bonus, so I’ll probably be ok even with a lot of out of stock items. 🤪

Never even occurred to me this could be an issue and valuable to know for other times I’m not stocking up on staples.

I've flown in/out of those airports many times, so we may have passed by each other in the sky club before too! Although I don't go into sky club as often now (we go to centurion whenever there's one available). We need to save those 10 visits just in case!😂 But I'll definitely want to check out the new Delta sky club/Delta One lounge at SEA. It looks pretty swanky!

Your coffee comment!! 😂🤣 I was reading that while drinking...:coffee::coffee:!!! LOL!
