We're Going to Disney World!!---TR started 4/29!

Any bids on the tickets?

No, not yet but there is one person "watching" the auction. The auction is over in 3 days and about 15 hrs according to ebay so once I hit the one day mark I'm going to drop the price down lower. Wish me luck! :)

So I'm convinced Disney is out to drive me crazy. They're trying to send me to the looney bin. This morning I wake up at the not-so-late-hour of 9 am...I get the crust out of my eyes, wander over to my computer and log into my email. To my surprise what do I find in my email inbox?

AN AMAZING PIN FOR MY VACATION DATES!:cool1: I swear, Disney wants my head to spin right off of my shoulders with confusion as I try to figure out what decision I should make in terms of which package to book. Oh yeah to add to it I'm still trying to get rid of those dreaded tickets too! :headache: Anyway, I call and speak to a very nice CM who delivers the bad news; there's only deluxe resorts left with the PIN. She also tells me that many people just place the rooms on hold and if they do not pay but 10 pm tonight, their reservations will re-open! Perfect, guess whose going to me on the phone at 7 am tomorrow morning? princess: (that equals me) I'm basically doing anything in my power to sell those other stupid tickets on ebay. They're listed at $530 now so hopefully they sell, there's 2 people watching them now so hopefully that means good things  I'm keeping my fingers crossed! :goodvibes

Well, WHAT PIN?! Is it a coveted 60% off? 40% off? $49/value? More details, woman!

What to do.... but now I can't wait to get home and see if I have one!

Well congrats on the PIN but sorry it's not for your ideal resort. I sometimes call at all different times of the day as things open up randomly. I hope your tickets sell so your choice is easier.

Good luck all around!

haha sorry sorry!! the PIN was if you book at least a 5 day/5 night vacation you get a $500 Disney gift card at check in! Hope that didn't disappoint you, not quite as good as 60% off :lmao: It also said stay at a value resort from 4/19-5/21-09 (I think those were the dates i don't have the email up in front of me) get a standard room at a value resort with double occupany for $535 a person but it didn't give specifics on that for how many days of tickets, how many days of resort stay etc. I'll let you know if I find out anymore! :goodvibes

Thanks, I need all the luck I can get:goodvibes ...I figure that if I'm going to get the PIN with the $500 discount I can lower the ebay tickets even more if they still don't sell. I'm assuming that the $500 can be used towards the reservation...I hope something opens up tomorrow morning!

I think someone posted on this email deal in the Budget Boards and the small print says you can only use the $500 on merchandise. Not towards tickets or food. Does yours say that?

Hmm I just looked at my email and it doesn't say that.

That's exactly how it reads lol there is that little part that says "Other restrictions may apply" which could mean no reservations or food but I was planning on asking the CM before I booked anyway...there's no way I was every gonna spend $500 just on souvies (even if I'd like to) so this offer wouldn't really benefit me too much if that was the case.

Sounds like a super sweet offer then! As good as or better then free dining! Gotta run all those numbers, eh? I want to plan a trip/cruise for next December for DH's 30th and I don't want to book anything until next summer for just this reason- with the crazy economy, I bet they'll be killer deals and I don't want to miss out!

Hello,
Were you able to use this pin with your current reservation (the buy 4 get 3 free)? And, how did you get this pin? Are you a member of something? I am interested in trying to access it because I will be in Disney from 4/19-4/26!!!

I don't yet have the buy 4 get 3 free included in my reservation, I have a room on hold with that promo but I still have my original Pop ressie too. But I highly doubt you can use both promos together:guilty: I don't know how I got the PIN honestly...from what I've heard though just sign up for everything Disney related as possible. Give you email address and sign up on disneyworld.com and other sites. Hope that helps :goodvibes

I think so too, as long as we can use it on things other than souvies. I definitely have to run all the numbers and its frying my brain! You could book the cruise/trip and change it or apply a PIN afterwards you know. Not that it's really necessary to book so early but just a thought :goodvibes

Kristin,

I checked my email, and I didn't get your same offer, but I got this one instead:

Your family can enjoy a 3-Night/3-Day vacation package which includes room and
Theme Park tickets,
for as little as
$995.

$ 995 Family of four in a standard room at select Disney Value Resorts for stays most Sunday–Thursday nights 4/19–5/21/09.

$ 1,093 Family of four in a standard room at select Disney Value Resorts for stays most Sunday–Thursday nights 5/22–6/27/09.

Price based on 2 adults, 1 junior and 1 child. The number of packages available at this rate is limited. One Park per day. Tickets must be used within 14 days of first use. No group rates or other discounts apply. Offer is nontransferable.

This might work for me & Rachael to take a Mother/Daughter trip for her birthday in May! I'll have to call 'em and see what the quote is w/just 1 adult and 1 child. I really wish they'd join the rest of the hotel world and put in an area w/pin code or discount code entry so we didn't have to call! I don't have all the time in the world to call Disney.... :scared:

You know what I just realized? I bet I got this because they saw I was pricing cruises, and usually people tack on a 3-nt stay at WDW w/a 3 or 4 day cruise!

It's amazing how their system keeps track of your activity...

Hi there,
I got the same offer, but I haven't been looking at any cruise info at all. In fact, I have an 8 night trip booked for this April. I just got off of the telephone with a CM to see if this offer was better than the buy 4 get 3...it is not. It would be great for a long weekend like you suggested in your pp.

My current ressie is one single night, and then 7 nights (buy 4 get 3) with a 7 day park hopper no expiration and the dining plan. My total for the 7 days was 2006.66. When she priced out using the new code it came to 2165ish.

I know that's not your plan, but I wanted to save anyone using the buy 4 get 3 deal the phone call.

Oh my! All these codes and pin numbers are so confusing!

I wonder if you'll keep getting codes and pin numbers till the trip?

Now, if only those tickets would get bought!

Well I posted on other threads but wanted to post here as well!!!

My wife and I were supposed to go Jan. 16-24th...but we've decided to go in late September and can stay at CBR (In a Pirate themed room no less) which I'm REALLY looking forward to. Besides, the weather will be MUCH warmer or just about right..and the crowds are much less. The last time I went was in 1995 (August) and the crowds were perfect--not a long wait for most anything, except Space Mountain.

I hope you have fun on your trip and keep us posted :)

Can't remember if you said you've been to Disney before but if you haven't feel free to ask me questions as well as others on here.

My experience this past year was that I got, like, one offer in the beginning of the year for WDW. AFTER I booked my trip to DISNEYLAND, through WDW Travel, I started getting a pin code a month all the way up until Sept, before we left. When our orig. plan had been to go to DLR, it TORTURED ME! :headache: :headache:

And then we stayed offsite when we ended up going to WDW anyway so :confused3 . I'm just happy all these codes are coming out!
