Resort hop and Downtown Disney!!!

We love to go from hotel to hotel, wandering around and exploring. You didn't say if you'd have a car or not...if you don't, this will take a bit longer, but all the better for using up extra time!! :D I think its a really neat way to waste time. I collect pressed pennies, so we add that into the touring and try to get ones from each hotel.

And Downtown Disney is just a lot of fun. Great shops to browse through. The Legoland store is awesome! Lots of fun stores throughout the Marketplace, PI and the West Side.

There are other fun ways to spend time that do cost....things like the surrey bikes and water sprites that can be found at the resorts. There is also a couple putt-putt courses. I don't remember the exact costs but I do remember they were a bit expensive. But we're talking WDW, so I guess that shouldn't be too much of a surprise! ;) The pictures that I've seen of them to do look pretty cool.

Those are some of my ideas. Have a great trip!

"Why do we have to grow up? I know more adults who have the children's approach to life. They're people who don't give a hang what the Joneses do. You see them at Disneyland every time you go there. They are not afraid to be delighted with simple pleasures, and they have a degree of contentment with what life has brought - sometimes it isn't much, either."

someone had posted about the fort wilderness nightly campfire & film. Chip & Dale are there & there is singing before film. sounds interesting to me.

One of my kids favorite souvenirs is their Epcot passport - they're about $10 each and come with lots of stamps for each country. They go to each country and the CM's there will write a note in their native language and "stamp" the passport.

Taking a monorail ride around the monorail resorts is fun! Get off at the Grand Floridian and look around!

Go to the observation deck at the Contemporary just before the MK fireworks - great view!

Then go to the beach at the Contemporary and watch the Electrical Water Pageant with King Neptune!

One of my favorite souvenirs is having a silhouette of my kids done - I ususally have them done in the crystal shop on Main Street in MK - you get two (mirror images) for about $9.00. I keep one and give the other to a grandparent.

One of our favorite days during our last trip was our day at Downtown Disney - there sure is lots to see! Check out the kaleidiscope, the legoland and the Big Wonders of Disney Store!

The great thing about WDW is that there are so many things included with your admission that there is always something to do! All the rides, shows, or just grabbing a Mickey bar and watching the crowds go by!

Mini golf at Fantasia Gardens or winter summerland is a good divdersion. If you have APs or are DVC members, there is a discount. We spent one day doing this, DD, and playing games in the resort. Had one of our best Disney Days! :)

my kids enjoyed going to the boardwalk and watching The Buskers, a twice nightly magic show.
They enjoyed it so much we went back for a second night.

I don't know how old your kids are, but my kids (from age 3&4 to present: 8&9) LOVE strolling through the Poly at NIGHT...soft tropical sounds coming from everywhere....tiki torches....the beach...the hammocks on the beach....the dock...the guy w/the ukelele in the lobby...the parrots in the lobby....tropical fish & beautiful foliage at the main front door....and last but not least....they STILL talk about this as one of the all-time favorite Disney memories: chasing & trying to catch the tiny geckos that dart out in front of you everywhere! all completely free

Look at Deb Wills' site for a great list of "little extras" to do at WDW. Enter the web site http://www.wdwig.com/ and scroll way down Fun Things to See and Do at WDW. Especially note the listings of pressed pennies and the section called Overlooked Attractions. There are several good, cheap things mentioned at the WDW Resorts and DD. Enjoy! :)

keep up the great ideas. I am making notes of all of them
