*whew* Liz, you exhaust me just reading everything you and everyone else is doing.

While I really feel bad for the car woes, I am greatful that it is helping you get better aquaninted with a co-worker. It was very nice of you to give her the toppers.

Good luck and good times to all those healthy Ya-Yas who are participating in the marathon or even just meeting this weekend!

Hi gang,

I'm finally finding time to get on the boards...well I did read yesterday but didn't post anything.

The dumbutz funny for the day...yesterday morning mom got up to find that in the 20 minutes I had been gone and Jarrod had been up that he had opened a brand new box of samoa cookies (thanks Amanda!!), tried one, decided he didn't like them, and then proceeded to hide the rest of the package because he couldn't get it back in the box. :lmao: He hid it in a chair under a bunch of junk!! dork! Then he proceeded to cut the plastic straw that was in his cup (a big kid sippie type cup with special straws so that don't leak when he sends them sailing across the table). He decided it was too long for him

Then mom went to get Ethan up to find a full moon in his room!! :rotfl2: Apparently he woke up during the night and took off his pants and diaper! He then of course went back to sleep and peed all over his bed :rotfl2: I've got two strange kids!!!

Beth...I want "Mom to Mr. Complimentary and Bullseye" for a tag!! I think that aptly describes my brood!!! If you see this this afternoon I will call you tonight and we can plan better for this weekend!

Suzanne...glad the surgery is done, sorry for the sick kid that likes Jumping Jacks!!

Alan...love your furniture! What do you call it...Early Redneck? or Redneck Yacht Club!! :rotfl: Have fun with your girls this weekend!

Lily and Amanda...have fun in the marathon this weekend. I'll keep good thoughts that the rain goes away soon!!

Liz...glad you are getting to know your neighbor and co-worker. Sorry about the car.

Karen...have fun cleaning! I would help but I would be the one who says to toss anything and everything! You would be without a bed, fridge or potty!! If I had my way this is what i'd do at my house!!

Elaine...so what are you wrapping things for? (is this something I'm supposed to know about but forgot? )

Gotta go pay some bills on line now!!

:wave2: tara

Quick hi here... just spent time with Lily. She has a pic of her at Graeter's.

Liz, had mint cookies & cream as well as Buckeye Blitz for you (chocolate ice cream with chocolate chips and peanut butter cookie dough). Lily had Black raspberry chip and mocha chip :)

Alan, you feeling okay, you sound like you are behaving!

Cute Jarrod story! Oh and wrapping a birthday present and baby shower gift for this weekend and next!

Enjoy the evening all! We are spending time with our friend Dave tonight before he heads to India for work.

Oh Kimmar, you are EVIL! That is too funny!

Took a nice long soak in the tub, took a nice long nap, then we went over to the warehouse sale for PRP. Bought some sherry (whodathunk?), and headed over to Lakeland.

In laws weren't home, and kevin chose that opportune moment to lose his hot dog from when we were at PRP. It appears that he's so gunked up from his cold that it's making him do other things.

Now he's dosed up with decongestants. Hope it helps-they've been invited to a birthday party tomorrow.

Oooh, what Lily had sounds good. Could go for some ice cream right now.

Super sexy... cute movie too!

Back from dinner out... going to bed soon. Have dinner out tomorrow too :)

Raining now but rain should be done by the time our walkers are ready to go tomorrow.

Alan, hope y'all had a good weekend. Oh and you'd be happy to know it was agreed that redneck is far better than "white trash" don't ask, our conversations get a bit weird with that group :p

Poor Kevin :( I've had similar things happen (though not quite to that level) but I've known it to happen to others. I hope he is feeling better soon so he can go to the party!

'nite all!

...of course, you KNOW what he's sayin': "...bye, 'Lainey, I'm off to see kimmar...."

Hi all...........just popping in on my way to bed.

Will try and drop by again soon.........been busy running around everywhere, but hopefully life will settle down soon.

Question! Are we too old for Disney??

Reason I ask is that I was telling someone about the DIS the other day and of course they know I have teenagers............so their resopnse was.

"Aren't they too old for Disney"? My answer...........NOT AT ALL......NEVER TOO OLD!!!:goodvibes

So, what do you all say............are we ever too old for Disney?

Ok, I'm outa here now..........sorry I can't stay and catch up......wil try to one day soon.....meanwhile be good all...:lmao:

Um, yeah right Kimmar ;) No thanks on that!!!

Been a bit quiet here lately... where have some of our Ya Ya's run off to? :(

Auriel, my answer to that is that you are never too old for Disney ever. I first when when I was 5, then went again when I was 6, 9, 11, 13, 18, and 22 with my family (both US Disney parks in that list). I started going more often when I got married at 23 (honeymooned there and have done 9 trips of my own to a US Dinsey park since then) Given the ages I listed, doesn't look like I ever got too old for it, did I? ;)

We have some time off this morning and afternoon to ourselves. We then have dinner with Lily & Amanda (with a few others I don't know) tonight. Not sure what we'll do until then :)

Good morning.

Raining super hard here. Dave leaves for the airport soon too. At least it is Sat. and the traffic shouldn't be too bad.

NEVER too old for Disney.......I am way older than any of the ages Elaine listed :rotfl:
We were were there in Feb., I swear there were as many "older" people as young familes.

Good luck to the walkers.

Elizabethtown is on PPV now. Should I?? ;)

After Dave leaves, cleaning house and watching TV shows from the week.

OH...Beth, Taffy got a mouse last night ;) So hopefully that will hold her off until Dave comes back. Although with the rain the way it is, they like to come in

Lots of Disney news in my mailbox this morning!

My favorite :teeth: Hmmmm......;)

To help promote the WDW "Pirates of the Caribbean" re-opening in
July, the attraction will sponsor a "Where's Jack Sparrow?"
contest. The new Audio-Animatronic figure will be relocated on a
daily basis and hidden in a remote, but visible location. All
guests who spot the "Hidden Sparrow" will be registered to win a
family evening at Downtown Disney accompanied by actor Johnny Depp
himself.

Also:

Due to the ever-growing popularity of WDW's "Disney Dining
Plan", table-service restaurants at Epcot's World Showcase will now
be exclusively "by reservation only". All reservations must be made
at least one week in advance, and will require a credit card
number. Your card will be charged $10/person for any reservation
not cancelled prior to one week in advance.

FREE dining is coming back at Walt Disney World! Yes, for stays starting August 13 - September 30, you can get the Magic Your Way Plus Dining package for the price of a regular Magic Your Way package!

Morning!

Howdy, Auriel. As the hat at WDW says "I'm never growing up". Most people think it's the kids that cause us to go gaga over Disney. Nope, hubby and I were certifiable before they were born.

Gotta clean. Repairman coming this morning to fix the table. For some reason the leaf won't stay in place when you close the table.

Back later.

Grrrr... that actually ticks me off to no end!!! What a way to make things at WDW a PITA!!! I hate making ressies

Sorry, there is just a heck of a lot I see wrong with that! Makes it doubtful I'll eat sit down there much at all now :(

vent over... be back later ;)
