Morning all... Luis and I had little sleep last night thanks to thunderstorms. A bit groggy today. I told Luis to come home at lunch if he needed to. So I will be at least gathering things up to wash before noon.

Nancy, I hope you aren't feeling too bad today after trying to do all that work around the house! That sure is a lot... no matter what the age!

Tara, sounds like y'all had a great time together! Including the poor nose dive he did

Beth's post made me realize I think I forgot to say something about the car to Liz. As long as it isn't make a huge dive in your debt to income ratio, it won't be a big deal to lease right now. Esepcially if you are just getting a job and you didn't have one before. It will more than balance out! And of course we love Honda's here and the Accord is an awesome car! My dad recently just bought a new EX.

Suzanne, I hope the move works well for you! I think already you have a place you are going to love working at!!! I really do have a good feeling about this one for you!

Hi all

It has been hot here. Looks like we might get a little rain. It is getting pretty cloudy right now. We need rain really bad here.

I finally booked a room. We will be staying at Pop Century June 5-9. I have never stayed there. Just hope I do not regret my decision. I really prefer Animal kingdom Lodge but, decided We will not be spending that much time in the room this trip.

Jessica is having a sleep-over tonight. Hope I can survive a bunch of teenage girls. So far all is quiet. Don't know if that is good or bad.

My internet is down. The renters next door got a cable company (cough, cough Adelphia) to come out and hook up cable. They DUG UP my yard and somehow clipped my (not Adelphia) connection. As I had my job offer emails to review, I was not a happy camper.

Went out to the installer and asked him if he realized that he knocked out my cable and work related internet access. He told us too bad, to call our cable company. When I asked what he was going to do about the pile of dirt and dug up yard from the cable, he got all nasty and escaped into the house he was working on.

Ed took over after my coaching (had to pick up the boys) about how would he feel if some installer tore up his yard and displayed the same attitude. Supervisor was called and will look at the yard in the morning. At least the fiber optic people resodded the yards they tore up a few months back.

So, I'm pirating bandwith from a neighbor right now.

I'm not as irritated as I could be because I ACCEPTED THE JOB!!!! I start on Neil's birthday, woohoo! Wrote out my short resignation letter and I'm ready for heading back to work tomorrow!

Dunno how long this bandwidth is going to be around, so I'll send this off while I can.

thank you to everyone who sent rain. My poor little flowers were smiling brightly at me this morning. We had some wicked lightning but only a bit of thunder so it wasn't too bad. Jarrod tried to claim the rain and the thunder was keeping him awake but once I told him that I could barely hear it where I was with no noise in the room and that he had a fan and a radio he went back to bed!! hehehe

bowling sucked last night. My team lost 2 games and total pins but hey we did win 1 game! No thanks to me! And this morning I have a sore spot in my back and I think that is from the way I twisted a couple of times while bowling! Methinks I better learn to bowl better!!

Slow day in Yaya town...as well as DIS city.

Movie was pretty good.....funny in some places, gross in others Kind of along the lines of Tremors (which I love).

Whew!! I was about to go find me a battering ram to break down the DIS door! Good grief!!!

Terrible storms here last evening, with the inevitable tornado watch for about 6 or 7 hours. Luckily, only some high winds with lots of lightning 'round our place. We made it to bell rehearsal at the church just before the rain hit and it was over by the time we were done, so it worked out just right for us!

Whoo-hooo!! Tina's goin' to WDW!! Going for the Girls Only trip? I'm wanting to go, too, but can't swing it till October. Phooey!!! I loved POP Century, it's definitely better than any of the All Stars.

Way to go, Suzanne, on the job!!! High five to ya!! Now, can you let those of us who are still in the dark in on what it is? All I've been able to figure out is that it has something to do with food. The nerve of that installer who nicked your cable!!! Hope they come thru with the proper repairs and restoration of your lawn!

Picked up a load of bookkeeping to do for the CPA this morningso I can put away some money for my knee surgery. (It's no use ignoring it any longer--it's just gotta get done.) Then I took my car to the dealer for an oil change and some recall work. I'd been warned that I was going to need new front brake pads and new tires soon. Just didn't think it was going to be THIS soon. Sigh.....$500 later.....and I didn't even get the tires, yet! Oh well, better get busy on the bookkeeping. Hope ya'll have a lovely evening.
