There are 2 things that Miss Deena likes:

1 is Chocolate, and the other is Dr. Pepper. Hell, she even has me on the Dr. Pepper kick.

I can't believe I am home on a Friday night. The DW is at work for the next 12 hours delievering babies. YUCK!!!!!!!!

I hope this weather holds out. I would love to throw a few ribeye steaks on the grill tomorrow evening, with a big baked potato with lots of sour cream and butter. YUMMY!!!!!!!

Ok, that was gross, sorry about that, but thats what you get from being married to a nurse. My stomach don't turn near as much as it used to.

tony...my plans for this weekend are to cut the grass, rack the leaves, and kill the weeds in my flower beds so that i can put some soil down and plant flowers. Either that or sit around and watch tv all day!

Hi y'all! Back from the play we went to! Very cute And my friend did awesome!

To answer what we are up to this weekend. We have dinner out with friends tomorrow. Actually it is more of supper at their place. We are bagging it early since we have to be downtown at 8am for a National Association of Catholic Chaplains conference that we are singing at their mass for Sunday morning. A friend of mine is playing in an orchestra and has a concert in the afternoon on Sunday so if I am not too tired, I'll go to that. Then we have church again that night... I might be dead by Monday

Sorry, Todd, I was laughing since I figured out about that TV... you know us with those big fancy things. You need to come up and see ours. Mario Kart looks great on it

Sherry, sorry about his finger... but do not listen to Tony Hope it is feeling better for him soon! And yep, cake was interesting. I'm not sure I'd make it again with lime, but with lemon I know it would be great. However, Luis wants chocolate so chocolate he gets

Nancy, the other thing you could do is get her a sterling silver chain. I know it's not as nice, but you could splurge and get her a nicer chain at a later date. Honest to goodness I used to wear white gold on sterling chains and it worked out great... even my jeweler that I go to suggested that. As long as the sterling is clean you cannot tell! Or you could take her chain in that you'll get and see if the jeweler can extend it. 20-22" chains definitely aren't the norm (then again only 18" is so that sucks for me ) good luck!

Tony, if our plans fall through for tomorrow, what time is the cookout?

Good Saturday morning, Ya Ya family!! It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood, here, with lots of amd temps headed for 70º!! And best of all, I have the day off!!!!!!!! Can't believe I actually have a day where I don't have one job or another to rush off to! Dave and I are doing laundry and who knows what else. Just enjoying some down time.

Nasty finger.....my mom always used to say not to worry, if it wasn't better in the morning, we'd just amputate. Luckily, it was always better in the morning!

Still waiting to hear about Paula's haircut.......

Nice necklaces, Nancy. I'm leaning towards the bottom one, too. And I'm right there with M'cori on the 20-22" chains.

Okay...ordered this one in white gold......and a 21" chain.
Only $13 over budget....BUT I will save the 18" chain for Christin, so it came out good. Now I hope it gets here in time for me to make sure it is alright (never know about online orders), before I need to mail it off to her.

I need to get to work.....actually was going to watch a movie first. Oh the life of leisure

Decided to get work done before play. The cake is baked and I will ice it when it cools off a bit more this afternoon. As much as I was hoping for lemon, Luis' pleading eyes with chocolate won out. I'll do the lemon later I think for family some time.

Beth, that cake is yours! Lime isn't bad in a cake at all, but I just prefer lemon in general to it. Though lime in a bit of club soda is good too! Enjoy the day off and the temps! We have warm weather here as well, but it is overcast. Otherwise we would be in the upper 70s they said.

Oh well, better than the snow we have on course for later in the week.

Deciding on whether I feel like doing a load of laundry or just waiting until I do my normal stuff on Monday. Luis will be going to work on a computer somewhere so I have several hours here to myself to do things like that.

Woke up with a massive headache and no light cream for coffee......

I'm thinking working till 1am probably didn't help.

Ok - the haircut....not bad - ask me again tomorrow after I go buy a hairbrush....seems all of mine are missing (either that or I gave it to the peach - sorry Veggitales reference there). No one screamed on horror when I was out in public yesterday so I'll take that as a good sign. Long day yesterday - meeting at work for 2 hours...left there mentally drained - then met one of Alyssa's friends for coffee at Panera - then work - work - work.
I'm not working today.

Now for ketchup...

Glad everyone is having a good day. I'm going to ingnore the sore throat that I have today and the drippy nose. I'm going to say it is allergies instead of the dreaded virus!

today I took apart an old sleeper sofa so it could be put out by the street for pickup this week, then I cleaned out the toys in the playroom ugh!! Jarrod was out there so i couldn't throw away as much as I would have liked but I got quite a bit out. The room is clean and orderly and it was told to stay that way! We'll see if the room listens! lol! I'm one tired puppy now. I haven't even begun to work on the back yard. I guess that is tomorows project!

gonna go veg on the couch now...oh wait...mom is there (she feels worse today than she has all week poor thing) so I'll take the couch and pick up my book (Disney War) and continue reading for a while!!
