My brother is feeling OK today, thanks. He got his car back today. They wiped it for prints....DB said the car is filthy inside and out from all the powder, etc. The guy left a McD's cup inside the car, too, so hopefully they'll get some DNA and find him.

glad he is feeling better and that he got his car back. That's gonna be a mess to clean up. At least the guy was kind enough to leave something that might have some dna that they can find him with!! I'll keep my fingers crossed that they catch him before he does it again and kills someone!!

My headache is finally going away - went to the dairy farm and grocery shopping - will be cooking steaks shortly. My husband washed his truck today - Chris went to Block Island (his friends uncle from New Orleans was recently hired as the ferry's engineer. When Chris got home they worked on Chris truck (**** they are getting along really well lately!!).
I talked to Alyssa - she didn't go to the basketball game because she had no one to go with (awwwww) - she says it's pretty much bedlam there with celebrations. She was working on transfer applications.

Not sure what's up for tonite - we only have 1 movie fron netflix and since there are no aliens or violence it does not interest DH - haha.

Going to look for a bike for Julian today after church. My mom is getting him one for his b-day, she gave us the $ so we could help him pick one, since he keeps changing his mind. After that we are going to Damon's (Julian's pick!) for his b-day dinner.

Gotta hop in the shower and start getting ready for church!

Good morning early risers!

I went to church at 8am - laundry is in - now enjoying coffee and a hot-cross bun!!

Suzanne - yes - that's the ferry - first time Chris went on it a few years ago he was really sick but now I guess he has his "sea legs" and really loves it - he thought it was really cool seeing the ferry's engine. How's the pain today? Not too bad I hope. I am going to have to check out that Sees sight.....(might be a bad thing...).

Sherry enjoy bike shopping - and Julians birthday dinner - Birthday Greetings from Rhode Island Julian!!!

I'm working 12-5pm today. Jeffrey is bottling wine I think and baking kabobs for dinner (good thing I guess since I seemed to have missed them at someones house this week...) I bought Irish Soda Bread at the bakery last night and no one likes it but me.....Anyone care to help me finish it off??
Chris is workign with his friend today - friends dad own a construction company - I think they are doing more plastering....but at least he doesn't have my car.....

Question....any suggestions as to what I should wear to the theater next SAturday? Going to see Phantom of the Opera and out to dinner first. I was thinking black dress slacks and a burgandy and black chinese style top????

Morning. Still icky, but we get so few days off together that I'm sucking it up and heading out in a few. The original plans included AK, but I think we'e sticking closer to home and going to the fairgrounds for the Home Show. Price out a fence at least!

Paula, See's is soooooo good. The malls around here had kiosks last Christmas and I rapidly got hooked. Now I get the catalog in the mail and all four of us oooh and ahh over it. Neil holes up in his room with it, then takes it out in the car and reads candy descriptions to us as we're driving. Torture, or a guarantee that Mom and Dad will buy it? Oh yeah, I did the Viking from Montauk during choppy seas, but the trip was only 1 1/2 hours. The trip over was three hours in a very small ferry.

Nancy, go back to bed! I think we're firming up what goes in the Easter baskets, lol. Ed was half joking about buying enough to get the quantity discount and freezing it, since it'll start getting too hot here soon.

Kimmie, the Buckle store skeers me because fo the clothing in there actually. I don't see myself as one who would wear a lot of it. Plus I get skeered of upscale stores! That's why I was happy we have a stand alone Lucky store. Somehow even though the service was so personal (the girl even remembered me from when we bought Luis' jeans), I felt less out of place there.

Well I have to admit, I'd LOVE it if we had a Lucky store here! One of the things that I found impressive, and kind've funny about the Buckle people... as the girl was helping me, another woman came in who apparently is usually helped by the girl that was helping me. Because she was already occupied, another attendant took this woman. When the second attendant speculated about the woman' size, the girl helping me knew it. LOL! Thought that was cute. The other customer looked rather surprised but impressed. Like you though, I didn't immediately feel at home in there. I tend to look at some places and feel that I have no business, at my age, going in there. LOL! I sucked it up though and am glad I did. At one point, the girl asked me if I wanted frays or rips. Snork!! Told her I was too old for that so keep the ripping and fraying to a minimum.

Speaking of clothes... Paula your Phantom outfit sounds perfect!! Is it evening or matinee? Well, either way, what you have picked out will look great!

How's that sore throat you're ignoring Tara? Everyone else healthy now?

Hi y'all... back from church, church & lunch. Since the thunderstorms kept me up the majority of the night, I am going to get changed into comfy clothes and take a nap! I'm not ketchuping yet, but hopefully later today.

Up, showered and dressed at 6:30 on a Sunday? No way for me! That's one day that I don't even bother to get out of bed until about 8 am. I just enjoy the time reading, watching TV or playing online... in bed. Sundays are for rest for me

it's official...i'm gonna die! I feel like I've been hit by a mac truck. dang kids gave it to me anyway. so i'm here to say hi and then I'm signing off until i'm at work tomorrow. I'm hitting the couch and refusing to move until work tomorrow. i'm hoping that all the aches go away and leave me be by tomorrow morning when i have to go to work!
