....Wow, 99 is amazing!!! I know that the older they are here, the more of a celebration their wake/funeral becomes! Must be the Irish in me though :p...

...heck, I hopeto live that long and look as good as she did.... :cutie:

We're back....no time for ketchup right now.
Had a great time.....legs are more tired from walking then when we go to Disney

Morning all....

Just sitting around waiting for the snow......

Speaking of plates.....I still have the remainders of my (dating myself here) blue Pfaltzgraff Yorktowne set that Jeffrey bought for me right after we got engaged....all chipped badly - I just don't have the heart to throw them away.....

Newsflash.....Chris asked for money for a haircut this morning....... :cool1:

Work last night was the pits.....I have the means to check/moniter phone activity and I usually do that every 1/2 hour ....cehcked on the first 1/2 hr and realized - no calls were coming theu were all "lost".....wouldn't ya think that everyone might have noticed they weren't getting calls......so I ram the report and called every one back....all 48 callers.....other than that it was a night of complaining - I ignored them all.....

Alan - prayers for Mrs aa's gramdma

Good morning to all....

gotta go watch "Starting Over House".....I'm addicted.....

More later....

good morning gang,

I woke up without the urge to use an ice pick so I think I'm feeling better. I'm going to see if the headache stays away today. If it does then I won't go to the doc, but if it comes back I'll call him.

hugs to everyone that needs them. Too much to ketchup on right now.

more later,
tara

Good morning y'all.

Paula, I loved the pic ::yes::

Kimmar, I hope you find a new hobby soon (something other than attending funerals/wakes!)

Mrs. AA's grandmother is seeing an ENT today about her jaw. She may be placed in the hospital for 24 hours in preparation to move her to the nursing home where her daughter (my MIL) works. :(

Kimmar, for me it wouldn't be how I look, but how I feel. My grandmother who is approaching 95 isn't having much of a life now... I seriously hope to die before I become unable to take care of myself (like going to the bathroom... she can't even do that :()

Welcome Back Nancy!!!!!!
Wow! That has to be a LOT of walking!!!!

Paula, I hope Chris gets a nice cut :) I admit I wouldn't have the heart to throw out those plates either! Things like that are nearly just too hard to!

Tara, I am hoping the pain stays away!

Alan :grouphug:

I'm back to scrubing the tub

:flower1: Welcome back Nancy!!!!

:flower3: Feel better Tara.....

 to the AA family

...at least you can have piece-of-mind knowing that someone close is right there to keep an eye out for her.....

....well, she was a very active woman - very elegant and "trendy" [for her age]...she even did her own grocery shopping (with some help, of course!)..

Paula, how is your afternoon going! I keep imagining you running around like the rabbit in your siggy :teeth:

Kimmar, sounds like she had a good life then!

Got through a list of things I wanted to get done today... now rest time before fixing supper :)

Eeeeh! Just received an email shipment notification on my dishes! That was fast! :Pinkbounc Elaine, I saw yours at Macys! Beautiful! Now THEY are what I actually would've pictured myself with. How I ended up with these wild, whimsical artsy things, I'll never know. ...and you're right, it is kind've addicting. I started making a list of the other pieces I'm going to want if I like what I see when it finally arrives. :p

Paula, same here. I think I have every dish I've ever collected over the years. The stoneware we registered for years ago, the set my mother bought for me as a teenager to tuck away in a hope chest, the set Tom bought me... I'm sort've sentimental pack rat.

Orli is speaking with an American accent??? :( Ooooh! The preview for the new Johnny Depp movie looks gooood! :p

Kimmar, you DO need a new pastime/hobby don't you? :( Sigh.

Nancy's home!

Chris is getting the hairs cut! :Pinkbounc Cam's is getting pretty long now. Now if I could just get him to comb it once in awhile I wouldn't mind the length.

Tara, I'm glad to hear you're feeling better!

Thinking positive healthy thoughts for Mrs. AA's grandmother!

Blech. I've put the bills off long enough. Off I go.

.....looking fer Orli, Johnny, and Apolo pix seems like a good enough hobby fer ME..... :)

Off to choir practice... have a great evening everyone!

Pam, I saw her post somewhere not too long ago and for the life of me I can't recall where! I was wondering when she posted and hoped that meant she'd be back... guess not :(

LOL, Kimmie, I think you bought my plates and I bought yours then ;) Just enjoy them! I know you will! What else do you plan to buy with that set? I think nice plates are a great investment! Especially ones like that you get to enjoy every day!

Oh Orli's American accent... he spoke a perfect accent in Elizabethtown. Well near perfect... I heard it come out once or twice when he said the town's name. but Luis was floored with how good he was :teeth:

I need to run... catch y'all later!

good evening gang,

sorry to hear about the ill folks and the funerals. Not fun! hugs to all.

Okay, so the headache didn't stay away. :( However, I have to work tomorrow b/c I have an IEP meeting first thing in the morning. But I'm going to see if I can get a saturday appt. or a 4 pm appt. for tomorrow so I don't have to miss any more work. I really dont like the idea of having to take meds everyday again to keep them away, but that maybe what I have to do. Its weird b/c the headach has moved from the left side (which is where my migraines have always been) to the right side. So tonight it is the right eye i want to put out. I even tried taking muscle relaxers today to see if it was a tense neck. No dice. didn't help. This week has been worse than the two weeks with Jack. At least those first two weeks with him I was still able to function even if I did feel bad. This week functioning has been kept to a bare minimum. I hate that.

Anyway, I'm going to quit my *****ing until I see the doc...then if he tells me there's nothing to do then i can continue, but if he can give me relief and I choose not to go then it is my own dang fault! I hate doctors and I hate spending money on them. So I avoid them like the plague!

Till tomorrow gang!!

hugs,t

Aww Tara  I do hope they can find something to help you! I've been dealing with teh same sinus headache fro four days so I can only imagine how rough this is on you!

Choir was good... hate the idea of singing in front of such a large crowd, but meh... tired so I better go. See ya!

Paula, that is an adorable “do” you have there.

AA, sorry about your MIL, prayers to all as the healing begins.

Cute plates everyone. Do they come in paper?!

Wondering how trillion works. I downloaded it a long time ago b4 I lost my HD crashed. Never did get to use it.

Tara, feel better.

Sherry, you givin’ all 4 away! Eek! (8:00 bedtime?)

Nancy, welcome back

Paula, sorry about your work issues. It seems that there is always something, seems stressful for sure. Hope you like Chris’s hair cut.

Kimmar, I hope you find a new hobby soon (something other than attending funerals/wakes!)
Yes, what AA said.

Elaine, that’s what choirs do…sing in front of crowds. Your voice is good enough to be there, so share it with pride! I know I would enjoy it.

Elizabethtown, I did like that one. Also watched In Her Shoes and liked that one too. Great fun watching the flicks with my Mom. DH was working. Didn’t do much tonight. Enjoyed the evening off.

Morning!

Lily, I thought In Her Shoes was good, too. :) 8:00 isn't normally bedtime. :teeth: I was just stressed and needed a break. :teeth:

Tara, I hope the dr. can help you.
