Tara, just take a nap... who wants to exercise that much anyway? ;)
too late for that...either that or I need to get me some depends!! :teeth:

Afternoon, all.

Well, I made the doctor go :confused3 . I don't look like the profile of classic Lupus, but I do have some odd things. Bloodwork is being done. The fact that I came up positive for it six years ago with only two markers is what's making him test me now. If I seem blase about it, well, it just would put a name to all the weird stuff that's wrong with me. Sure beats having doctors look at me :confused3 because I don't look like the typical fill in the blank patient.

Nancy, question for you. Is there a See's shop in SeaTac? If so, next time someone goes out to her office out there, she gets 50 bucks to buy some! :lmao: I've had way too much of Neil reading me descriptions of candy!!!

Lainey, okay, Skins fan in your house. I think it's more of the local mentality that got me about it. I think it wasn't as bad where I grew up because it was divide and conquer with two teams for everything.

Amanda, I would have done the same thing. Kevin is my assertive guy, he would have come up and bugged me "I'm hungry" and I would have pointed him at the adults who couldn't make up their minds!

Alan, you are soooooo evil. You think like my goofy hubby. He's in rare form today, too. :rotfl: I had to threaten to throw a shoe at him in the examining room to get him to behave. Nurse was laughing, though.

For those who are planning on visiting soon, it's 82 degrees and mostly cloudy today. Perfect park visiting weather :smickey:

Tara, as a kid I never wondered, but as an adult, I think it'd be torture to be there and not get a potty break! I'm one to talk, I spend 4 hours on the sales floor by myself and can't get one, either. No iced tea those mornings, though! (Hey, where is that 'gotta pee' smiley, anyway?)

Lily, I'm glad you stayed home and rested.

So, for the first time in 18 months, I am having a bad wrist day. I forgot what they were like. I'm hoping it's just today, cuz I don't know where any of my wrist supports are. I know where the carpal tunnel ones are, but they won't help.

Off to the mall in a few and Neil needs the laptop to do spelling homework. I'll catch y'all later!

Suzanne

:badpc: Worse today than usual :furious:

Suzanne...I think there is a kiosk, but I'm really not sure. I can look next week ;)
I can always send you candy ::yes:: Just let me know what you want....long list I take it?
The kiosks would only have the prepacked boxes.
Those I can get discounted.

Isn't it a month late to be breaking out the "missle toe"?

Junior went to the plant doc at 3. Still haven't heard anything from him and he's not back, so I'm hoping that is a good sign. ::yes::

LOL, Sherry, of course not! I bet you know the stories just the same as I do though ;) The ones I am friends with are good, but my goodness... some have no respect!

Tara, you need to develop a whole new product that is a bit "classier" sounding than Depends. No offense to them, but come up with these pretty little panties so that you can feels sexy and be lazy all at the same time :p

Suzanne, I can kind of understand how you feel, but good luck with the doctors... I do hope they can at least figure something out soon
And yeah, the mentality of people when youa re local changes things a bit. Though don't tell Luis, his fans are downright awful at times too!

Nancy, same here... I give up *sigh*

Of course I keep trying to post, so I suppose I'm not that much into giving up.

Speaking of sighs... Alan...

Oh and oops, I do hope that is good news Sherry! Let us know when you hear something!

JUNIOR IS BACK TO WORK!!!! :cool1:  :cheer2: :yay:

This is such a HUGE relief. :woohoo:

Thanks for all the prayers and good thoughts.

Break out the bubbly!! Junior is back to work! Yippee!! :cheer2: :Pinkbounc :yay: Congrats!! Sherry gets her house back! :teeth:

Nancy...i was prepared for the confetti today! :teeth: Not one piece hit the floor!

Alan... :lmao: you are too dang funny! At least I can understand your sense of humor!!

Elaine...at least you are not a quitter!! And yes the sexy things would be nicer...but its not like anyone ever sees my panties on good day anyway!! (oh tmi for the DIS!! )

Suzanne...Ed sounds like my mom and I in the dr. office. I usually try and say something that embarasses the doc. He gets embarassed if I mention how Ethan came to be :confused3 He's a doctor for goodness sakes!

Finally, got the kiddies in bed. I think I will dis for a bit and then hit the hay myself.

goodnight all!!
tara :hippie:

I did my taxes. Not as much back as I'd like, but I can't complain. We only paid mortgage for half a year. Now, if I got back the money from the blasted landlord and the last installment of a loan to a friend it would be the difference from what we're getting and what I thought we'd get! :rotfl:

Nancy, thanks for the offer, I may just take you up on it! My current catalogs are pretty shop-worn right now :lmao: . Neil says he wants a custom mix-1/2 milk chocolate patties, half dark chocolate patties  I had to explain to the boy that those can be purchased in their own box.

Alan, missile toe is what the astronauts get!

Woohoo, Junior is back to work :cheer2:  :cheer2:

Lainey, I don't know which is worse right now, the server busy, or Yahoo mail hosing up every time I try to click on an email. I'd switch my email, but then that bumps me off the other board that I need special permission for ;)

Tara, he wasn't trying to embarrass, he was just being goofy, playing with the 3 dimensional arthroscopic poster!

Think a soak in the tub is in order. We had a bookstore in the mall close before Christmas, and I picked up four or five Katie McAllisters. The one I just started is pretty funny, as per usual. Soaking in the tub guarantees uninterrupted reading for about a half hour, until Ed starts missing me!

:cool1: Only 4 more posts till the Big Eight-oh-oh-oh....

Edit:

Woohoo, I did it.....8,000 POSTS!

Woo hoo for Junior!!!!!!!!
I am so very, very happy to hear this, Sherry!

LOL, Tara, yep, not a quitter here. Though somedays I really am liable to quit rather quickly.
As for the sexy... it's not who sees them, it's how they make you feel ;)

Suzanne, good luck with Yahoo! fortunately I haven't had trouble with them lately. But they seemed very hosed on my computer for IM. The icon won't show so if I want to see who is online, I have to keep reloading it  Oh well...

Good night Nancy! I hope tomorrow is a better day for posting for us all :)

I'm off myself. Catch y'all later!

Yay for Sherry and Junior! Great news!

Suzanne, sorry you aren't getting the $$$ you should. No news about the landlord $$? That has been going on for ever. Stump the doctor, not a good thing either I think.

DH's stress test went well. It was a baseline need for after his quad bypass. It was time to get a reading after he has had time to heal. He does have some issues with leg swelling, so I guess it was to check out all that to be sure the swelling is indeed what they have said has been causing it all along. That test is sure a long one. Now with that radio active dye, I guess he is super charged for a while. I'm still not feeling well, called work and I will be off again tomorrow. I will go back Wednesday whether I'm well or not. "Presenteeism" cuz I don't want to visit the doc just yet and we need a doc slip if it is 3 days or more. So I'll just go in and spread the goodness Wednesday. Night night.

Morning all...

Not feeling well this morning. Probably because I am trying to cut the 'bad' carbs. Wasn't going to come in, but boss had an early meeting I needed to be here to prepare for. Leaving at 1/2 day, 10:30, to take care of things for this week. It is a busy week and I have no time to do anything. My 1/2 day will be spent getting lab work done, dropping of payment for our Youth outting this weekend, working out, grocery shopping, dropping off lunches for the homeless, picking up our carpet cleaner from my brother and cleaning the house....tonight I take 7 kids for library night. This is all to get ready for Wednesday is Girl Scouts, Thursday is a visit with Dad, Friday is the Youth leader yearly meeting and Saturday is the Youth all day meeting. Todd's mom arrives Friday evening and leaves Sunday while we are at church. I think I finally get to breath on Sunday. Maybe I am feeling bad because of the week, not the carbs :confused3

Sherry....Great news for you and Junior. Although seems you get the boys. You need to make sure you schedule Junior for kid duty on Saturdays. :p

Lily...enjoy your sleep. Hope you are feeling better and that all goes well with your DH's testing.

I guess that's better than a case of asteroids.

Trust me, I've studied this..I did nothing but take up space in school ::yes::

Congrats on Junior returning to work, and
Congrats on 8000 posts Kimmar!

Amanda, slow down...you are blowing the curve for the rest of us.

Morning all!

Lily, I hope the day off does you well! Feel better soon! How long do you have to wait on the stress test results? I do hope they will not show anything bad for Ted though.

Amanda, you made me tired just listening to your week!!! I hope you can find some time to yourself before the weekend! And hope you feel better soon no matter what is causing it.

Alan, at least you knew your place in school ;)

Congrats on 8000 posts, Kimmar!
