Suzanne, if I went down there, I am not sure I'd leave quickly I'm in my "really tired of Ohio" feeling but too happy close to family to do much about it.
Oh and I figured out, I don't care for Black Cherry Vanilla Coke. It reminded me of something and I couldn't figure it out until today. It reminds me of Dr. Pepper (yuck)
I'm not much into Cola drinking anyway though.

Paula, with Cheesecake Factory, there is no way I would call it a wasted day either! Sorry she couldn't decide on shoes though. I have a hard time with that also. I'd rather nearly all white than the colors and that makes it rough for me at times.

Sherry, I hope no one else gets sick! Awww... first dance? Not possible! He's too young Take pics though and I hope he has a great time!

When I go to the store next, Amanda, I'll try it out. It could wind up being veyr good for rice. I did plan to try to make some tonight too. Good luck with work

I am finally feeling better - still not 100%. I know where Dave is coming from - it will be 2 weeks tomorrow that I came down sick and my sinuses are still clogged and I still have coughing jags.

Yeah, busy, busy, here. Yesterday was the CPA, today is nice boss/boy genius day. It's nice to see those CC balances inching downward. Thinking seriously about making WDW ressies for Oct/Nov since the retail world won't let me do our annual Christmas season trip.

Oct. 23 for 9 nights
and then in Jan......are you doing the marathon again, Lily?

Doing Cruise in Oct and will be in “The World” a couple of days the end of the week you are there. We’ve just GOT to “do lunch!” and stuff! We fly home on the 29th I think. Haven’t got the dates at my desk here and haven’t booked flights yet.

Sad to say that it doesn’t look as though I will be there for the marathon event weekend/week. $$$ get in the way just now. I’m still hopeful something might happen that will make it possible to get there.

Amanda, Dawn Dissolver…thanks for the tip. Gotta get it on the grocery list.

Bethie, Honey, slow down (at least don’t get sick/stressed from it all). Sounds like it is frantic. PD for some good soft personal time soon.

Bethie, I can picture you flirting on the CB. I was 'She Devil". That CB sure came in handy-I was using it until I started driving the Saturn down to Dulles every day.

I must have missed the rice reference, Amanda! How's the new office locale?

Paula, that is a long break. I thought the SUNY schools dropped those. When I was in my first year, they had a two week break right before finals-there was so much complaining on both sides that they vowed to drop it. Then again, that was a long time ago!

gotta get some laundry done.

Beth and Lily - For some reason that song was in my head this morning! My Dad still calls me Sunshine to this day! I call my DD that on occasion - as well as Anabelle. Once I called the cat Anabelle and DD hit the fan, "That's MY special name, not hers!"

Beth - you were a CB'er! Who would have thunk?? That's one thing that I can't grasp -- I can NEVER make out what anyone is saying on the CB radio. It's too muffled and garbled for me. I made DH take the CB out of my vehicle years ago.


Suzanne -- well, I can't compete with the Elmer Fudd version! My Mom has Lupus. Horrible, nasty disease.

Okay, everyone needs to plan on being in Va Beach on Sunday April 23rd!! I haven't set the time yet, but I'm looking at the 2pm slot...so we can have a skee ball competition!! woohoo!!

My worst class is entering the classroom...now is when Jack returns. These are almost all emotionally disturbed and they make me disturbed...my head starts twitching my face does these contortions and my entire body shudders!!

Okay, I'm off to fight the beasts!!

I admit I didn't have a good night either (two in a row now) so I have been resting most of the day. I did do some things around the house, but I think I'm done for the day

Lunch will be as soon as I get dressed appropriately for outside and go get it though

Yuck Pam... I had that kind of stuff for nearly a month straight. It really got to me after a while. I hope it leaves you soon!!!

Bethie, enjoy the day and have fun planning an Oct/Nov trip!!!! I know if something happens here we might move it to about then as well.

Suzanne, I agree with teh over flavoring of this Coke though. I think it reminds me of Dr. Pepper iwth the aftertaste... sadly that always reminds me of cough syrup.

forgot to bring lunch today so I have to go to the school cafe and see if there is anything worth eating...and if not then I will just have to eat the chocolate I have for the kids!! hehehe

Back, was checking movie times for Sunday before heading to work. Seems Narnia is gone, but HP is back. Can either go see it by the inlaws or on an IMAX screen.

Pam, no dice on Lupus for me, thank God. All the tests came up clear. Both the rheumatologist and the cardiologist are at why an almost 40yo has all the weird stuff, though.

Kimmy, are you saying you spent all that money for a purty new kitchen just to burn stuff in it?

I'm in the line for the skeeball machine, pronto. If skee ball had been available in gym, I'd have had straight A's,

Lainey, it was short for Tasmanian She Devil. Yeah, it fits. I got changed over to Jazz by my friend Henry, though. He thought it was more fitting.
