Karen, my mom was on that patch. It worked wonders. You may want to call the mfr and request the bioclusive covers...especially since you've been losing weight.

Suzanne what is that? To keep the patch from falling off due to not sticking or to keep it dry? Im having problems keepig it on. It doesnt seem to want to stick to my skin. Congrats on Neils class. Im glad to hear they will be teaching to the ability. My eldest is like your son. Very advanced but has issues.

I will try to ketchup lasters.

Been baking cookies just cuz... I wanted something warm and god for dessert so I made them myself

Nothing terribly exciting here otherwise. We have a lot of yard work we are going to do tomorrow and I think I have some ironing to do!

If only there was something exciting happening today to warrant a good story.

I did sit in on an interview yesterday for some applicants who wish to take the job of the pregnant girl with whom I share the room. They were a couple of winners the first one (a male) apparently had the "interviewing for dummies" down to a science. He had sent in thank you notes, he comlimented the school when he walked in...told us how our building looks like a college...i think it looks more like a jail...but then again I've been there forever...and he talked way too much!!! The second person came in and said that she really didn't want to work in the middle school (so you applied here because????) and that she was waiting to hear from an elementary school, but if she didn't get that one she would take this job because she really needs the mone!!

hmm....which one would you choose..the one that knows nothing about teaching but can talk a good game or the one with the degree who doesn't really want to teach!! i voted to let the kids teach themselves! But then again my criteria for a new teacher was ...male, single, and straight Oh well, I lost again!

Alan..thanks for the tissue! Elaine...I figure thinking about posting is as good as really posting!!

Tired me, but I wanted to pop in and reply to this.

If you're on the Duragesic pain patches, there is a clear adhesive patch that the drug company will send you if you call the 800 number on the box (for some reason, Johnson labs is the name that I come up with). Especially w/geriatric patients, but also with those with weight loss, the patch does NOT stay on well.

Also, when you apply the patch, you've gotta press down for a full minute before removing pressure.

Yep, I applied several of them to Mom. Stepdad didn't do as good a jbo!
