Good morning, all!! It's nice to be connected to the outside world again!! I'm a bit

though, because we only moved about 4 miles and we couldn't keep the same phone number. Grumble-grumble!
You remember the way my Monday started with the keys and bank thing? You'll love this! When I finally got to the bank on Tuesday, I gave the girl 4 twenties and 2 tens, asking for 50 singles and 10 fives. She slapped a rubber-banded bundle on the counter, saying it was 50 singles and counted out the fives. No problem. I get back to the store and was putting the $$ into the drawers when I realized I had tens in my hand! Then, I couldn't remember if I had pulled them out of the cash drawer or not, so my manager and I ended up counting all the drawers all over again. Sure enough, I ended up with 15 tens MORE than I should have!! Just to be sure, we waited until after closing Tuesday night to be sure everything balanced. It did, so I called the bank yesterday morning and talked to the teller I had worked with. Yep, her drawer was short $184.65 on Tuesday! When I told her that I had $150 of it and would bring it back later, I heard a tearful "Oh, God BLESS you!!" I thought she was going to come over the counter and hug me when I handed it to her last night! Her manager was there and thanked me profusely for being honest and then took care of the day's deposit for me. So, I've done my good deed for yesterday, wonder what opportunities today will bring?!
Pam, I'm so sorry to hear of the break-in to your DD's car! Such a heartbreaking and just plain ugly thing to happen. It may sound cliche, but one DOES wonder what this world is coming to. This kind of thing happens too often, these days.
Nancy, I think you need to take a break and come visit me. You are the expert and I'm just starting to unpack boxes and organize cupboards and closets and the like. I need your help!!! I can offer you your own bedroom and private bath with jacuzzi tub while you're here
Kimmar!! It's good to see you stopping in more often again! How are things up your way?
Suzanne, glad to hear things look good for Neil's new placement. I was soooo happy when they approved the same kind of thing for my son--only 12 kids in his class, 2 teachers and each kid had their own plan. Best thing that ever happened to him and he still talks about how it changed his outlook toward school entirely! Glad it's happening for Neil so much earlier in his school career. Sure hope you can get in touch with that lawyer--you've waited far too long already for that security deposit to be returned!!
Laine, hope you're having fun car shopping with your dad. I love looking at cars and test driving and all, but sitting down to make the deal is just agonizing for me. Hope your dad finds just the right vehicle and the purchase process is relatively painless. Hope your head is feelin' better, too.
Good luck at WDW this weekend, Lily! I'll be thinking of you and praying that all goes well for you and your DS. Have fun with it! Hope the weather cooperates and is nice and mild for ya, too. Seems like ya have to take your entire wardrobe this time of year with the way the weather changes!
Hi, Paula!! I'm with all the rest on the long skirt with boots for your DD when she heads for Broadway. Oh, how I envy her!! Been my dream for years to go see a show there. She will have a blast, I'm sure! Hope things are easing for you and life isn't weighing you down too much.
Been there.
Sorry you've been sick, Tara! I think maybe you need another weekend of scrapping to truly make you feel all better! LOL!! Never mind about cleaning out the office. Maybe if you ignore it, it will go away??

Maybe??!
Well, I think it's time I got showered and dressed and busy around here. Need to get the clothes out of the suitcases and back into the dressers and I need to research computer desks. Movers went to pick up the one Dave had and it literally fell apart. Then there's all the books to go back into the bookcases, craft and scrapping supplies to go back into their cupboards, drawers and bins, etc, etc, etc. And I need to get over to the old place and pack up all the good dishes and glassware so Dave has something to fetch and carry when he gets off work this afternoon. Moving is such fun
Have a great day, everyone! I'll drop in again later when I need a break!
