Alan is having a girlie girl tree? How cute! I had a cat that used to like curling up on the tree. There was a time we had to tie the tree to the wall so it wouldn't fall. Putting out the animal was not an option.

Well, it's cabbage pierogies today. Big brother coming by for a sample. He heard they would be in prep today. I love when he comes to visit. (btw--the cabbage pierogies are like cabbage and noodles, just the noodle is wrapped around the cabbage---mmmm)

Quick hi here... going to help Luis do the lights outside and do some other stuff around the house.

I will catch up in a few hours

but yeah, be nice to short people... especially ones who recline... if I don't recline a little, my back goes out on a flight I admit, my dad and Luis both get aisle seats because of the legroom issues... more room there I guess.

BTW my legs are very stiff and muscles are sore.

I feel lousy, jarrod had a REALLY rough morning, but other than that the day has gone well.

the tree is up, its a pre lit that didnt want to come on but it is now. It is resting now! Waiting for mom to start putting on the ornaments. I help with the lights and that's where I stop...I love looking at a tree but I don't like to do the work!

Okay, I keep saying I will ketchup, and I promise I will. I got the lights up with Luis outside. I also got a lot done for the Christmas stuff for choir. I still have quite a bit to work on though that I need to get done this week.

I'll try to catch up tomorrow, and might go in to church for a while in the afternoon just to see if I can finish up

Rose Mary, I had a friend in Savannah, GA (originally from Ohio). She laughed anytime there was a dusting of snow. They all thought she was mad when she would drive in it!

We try to do our tree at TG weekend as well. It was odd to have to wait until the next week to get it up!

Sherry, we weren't as lucky with the weather yesterday. It was crisp and clear, but only in the 20s. Today we are finally getting out of that and it is "warming up" a little
As for "the Holiday" it was cute... made us laugh, a bit slow at parts, but over all a cute movie that both of us enjoyed.

Dave, I do hope your knee is feeling better by now! Stupid little person... in all actuality, most I know like to curl up and get even smaller... unless it is a cat you are speaking of, then all bets are off
enjoy WDW.... though you get very little sympathy from me if the weather isn't perfect

Lily, the cabbage perogies would probably be good then... what do you fill them with?

LOL about not doing the work on the tree! Luis only brings it up for me, and puts the angel on top. I make him put on "his ornaments" but the rest of it is mine. I prefer doing it too... I'm a bit anal about tree decorating, and if they aren't in a good place, I move things around... a lot

I need to go
church day here, but only one service today. Have lots of stuff to drop off though

Busy day yesterday. We did go see The Holiday. Really cute movie. Then we picked the boys up and went bowling. My best score was a 124!! Jordan got a turkey and was sooo happy. Then we hit the mall, Sam's Club, then went to a local Estate that decorates every year with lights, trains, etc. and you can tour the inside of the house and its all decorated and Santa is there. We met up with both sets of SIL's & BIL's and both nephews, and a few friends. It was a nice time. One nephew was terrified of Santa.

Dave, hope the knees feel better. Have a great time!! I'll trade ya weather. We're in the 40's.

Lily, I usually only eat potato pierogies, but the cabbage doesn't sound too bad.

Tara, sorry about your rough morning. Hope things are better now.

Todd, your good. I only have one present bought.

Elaine, glad ya got the tree up!! Did you watch the Heisman presentation? We got home just in time to catch them doing Troy's highlights, and then the presentation.

Today is church. We are having our Christmas party after service. Potluck lunch. Then we are meeting up with my mom and brother and going out for brother's b-day, which was yesterday.

...went upstate NY this weekend.....had dinner at Brook's House of Chicken in Oneonta, visited Cooperstown and went to a winery [hic], and did some Christmas shopping at Woodbury Commons, and......

afternoon guys,

I'll stay way away from you all so that I don't make anyone sick.

I'm beginning to wonder if this is the flu...cold sysmptoms, sore back, neck, and joints. I took a nap this afternoon and felt a little better.

Then I noticed that it was 60 degrees outside so i went out and got the lights up on the hosue. I had enough lights to do up to the point and then half way down the other side. So i need lights for about 4 feet. I hate to buy another 150 lights for that short of a bit...b/c then I'll feel the need to wrap it around the side of the house and then I'll have to buy more and then I will want to do the back....and you get the idea!

I did manage to ketchup on Grey's anatomy and desperate housewives from before I was gone so I don't have to worry about being behind on thses.

Elaine...I have a DVC question...I asked on the DVC board but I thought I would ask you too...if you want extra pillows, blankets and such is it possible to get those or will they absolutely refuse to give those to you? My boys will most likely have one sleeping on the floor and I don't want to have to pack a sleeping bag or two.

Tara, I hope you are feeling better... just remember, flu has high fevers so if you don't have that, hopefully that means you have a cold. The flu also seems to hit quick and knock you out. Feel better soon.

Okay now that I know the answer to something you asked, I can't tell you about the other as I have never tried it. There usually is a spare blanket or pillow I've found in the closet, but not much. And honestly, the towels would barely be enough for four people (it is hardly enough for 2 as it is). I haven't called to ask about pillows since I stayed at OKW once... they were too hard or something so we asked for new ones, and htey just brought us some more. So my answer... I wouldn't count on it! However I found your post... ALL the 1 bedrooms have a king sized bed. I wouldn't bother putting her on the pull out at all with that! Only the studios have the queen. We like hte 1 bedrooms because of the fact that we don't have to "downgrade" to a small bed. I'm sure you two could share easily! Or you could probably have at least one of the boys sleep with you easily.

Morning, all! Sorry I haven't had time to post lately--while Dave is cavorting in Florida, I'm still here, slaving away at the store and having to play domestic goddess all by myself. Whine-whine!! I even have to take out the trash by myself this morning! But, only 6 1/2 hours from now, I'll be on my way to the airport for my own flight to MCO and I'll catch up with Dave tonight!! We're staying at SSR, doing MVMCP tomorrow night and the Candlelight Processional on Thursday night. That's all I need and then I'll be fully in the Christmas spirit!!

Leaving lots of prayers and PD for those who need it and plenty of for everybody! I've read up to this point, but just don't have time to do a proper ketchup. One of these days, I will, I promise!! Hi-ho, Hi-ho!! Mad, mad love all around and
